Everything was hazy. All she remembered was crying her eyes out as he held her.
He whispered, "I'm sorry," over and over again.
She didn't talk, she couldn't.
She was lost in the past.
It was not that she felt betrayed by him or maybe she did.
Knowing he was HeDi opened up those wounds she thought had heeled.
He asked her to stay, to not go back to L.A. he actually begged, but she didn't listen.
"I need to go." Those where her only words that night.
He felt the minute she boarded the plane he was losing her.
She didn't want him to apologize for not telling.
She didn't want him to say anything.
All those years she accepted she was never going to see him. She even thought that childhood friend had died.
In between all the pain that had returned, she was happy he was there, a live.
The only issue was that Shen Yue couldn't connect HeDi to Dylan Wang. Staying near him only caused her confusion and pain.
It was sad to know her happiness was slipping away from her.
How did a childhood friend ended up being her husband, her lover, the man she loved?
She was not thinking of why, or how he was able to keep his identity from her.
There was no room for that.
Maybe later.
She watched Florida disappeared as her plane picked up altitude, she cried in silence.
Why did she have to be so damaged?
Why did the past came back to ruin everything?

The following days were torture.
Dylan Wang called every day, and every day she said she need time to reorder her thoughts.
He was about to leave everything and fly home until Coach literally pulled his ear.
"What the hell is wrong with you?!"
Dylan had packed his suitcase ready to go.
"I will be damned if I let you go. Sit your ass down. Tell me what's going on?"
Dylan was burnt out. He was sleep deprived, not eating well and back to his evil grumpy self.
He told Coach about the incident with Yasmin freaking Shen.
