I hummed to myself as I watched the sports festival rage on. Todoroki had easily beaten Sero, almost hitting the crowd in the process. The third match had been between Ibara and Kaminari which finished just as quickly as Kamianri overused his Quirk. Oshken seemed sad that Kaminari didn't get further but I wasn't focusing on that.

The fourth match was Iida and Mei which I found quite funny. Mei had wrapped Iida into wearing her devices and she used the whole fight as a pitch. At least Dom was getting great new ideas.

When the fifth match started it was Mina vs Aoyama. It was a lot of flashing lights that hurt my eyes and Aoyama didn't even win. After that, it was Tokyoami against Yaoyorozu. Tokyami easily beat Yaoyorozu, attacking before she had the chance to use her Quirk. I cheered excitedly as Tokoyami won.

Kirishima took on Tetsutetsu but they were basically the same. In the end, it was a draw.

Finally, I watched Jiro walk onto the stage. If she was smart, she could do this but it would be a mini-miracle if she did. Katsuki stood in front of her as they waited.

The second they were told to start, Jiro ran forward. Katsuki wasn't going to let Jiro get close as he blasted her away. Jiro rolled to the side as she kept going.

Each blast made me wince. Jiro's quirk wasn't good for fighting without her devices and the longer this went on it was amazing that she hadn't given up.

Jiro rolled out the way as she smirked. "Gotcha," she claimed as her earphone jack wrapped around Katsuki's wrists.

The crowd murmured in confusion as Katsuki froze. To the average person, it made no sense that simply wrapping her earphone jacks around his wrists would make Katsuki stop completely.

I couldn't keep looking, feeling a little bad as I glanced away. I couldn't help but spot Kirishima who looked worried as he jumped up and ran off.

Jiro tightened her eyephone jacks on Katsuki's wrist as he admitted defeat. The second he did, Jiro pulled back. Katsuki left before Jiro could apologize for exploiting his trauma. Jiro smiled though as she watched Kirishima grabbing Katsuki and pulling him into a hug, rubbing comforting circles on his back.

When Jiro returned I patted her back. "Good job."

"Thanks but I feel a little bad."

"Yeah, and I think you confused the crowd. But at least you can keep going forward in the festival."

"Yeah..."

Kirishima had to pull away from Katsuki, promising to be back soon as he had the rematch against Tetsutetsu. You could see Kirishima's eyes burning brighter than before as he struggled to win and get the match over with. Slamming Tetsutetsu's hand into the rock, he cheered. He praised Tetsutetsu on his Quirk before returning to Katsuki's side as promised.

I smiled as I skipped off. The next match puts me against Todoroki. I was scratching Tiny's ear as I hopped down. I yelped as I almost ran into Uraraka. She looked at me with a scary expression I had never seen on her before. "Hey, Midoriya-kun, could you do me a favour?"

Walking onto the stage, I let Tiny jump off my shoulders. I was going to regret this. I was going to regret this! The bell went off as I charged forward. I jumped out of the way off Todoroki's ice as I continued. Tiny ran down the outside as Todoroki tried to defend against both of us.

I jumped over the newest stack of ice as Tiny landed by Todoroki's foot, almost hitting him when Todoroki kicked her into the stands.

"That was rude," she screamed as she went flying. Jiro jumped up, catching Tiny as Dark Shadow caught them both and brought them back into the stand.
