Groaning, I stretched out my back and promptly fell out the bed.

"Morning Izuku." I heard the voice drift out from under my bed as I tilted my head to meet the pair of glowing eyes.

"Morning Oshken." Pushing myself onto my elbows, I grabbed the book out from under the bed and started reading. I swung my legs in the air while reading. It was too earlier to go to school but too late to go to sleep so I might as well 'get a new ally' as Dic would put it.

This book was a pretty silly one. Whoever wrote it had no idea how to write any sort of tension into the story and instead just filled it with cliches and cheesy lines. I ended up laughing when they wrote 'ahhhhhhhhhh' down on the page and I could practically hear the bad 60s actress in my head pretending to be killed.

I felt Tiny curl up in my arms, purring under my chin. Oshken peered over the book cover to read the words- somehow successfully doing so upside down. The ants were just starting the change over meaning Dic and Dom were coming over and standing in my hair.

"Izuku, you need to get ready now," mum announced to me as I rolled over and hopped up.

"Careful kid, you almost throw us off," Dic shouted with a laugh. Dom was fluttering around my ear before landing back in my hair next to Dic.

"Sorry, come on." Skipping down the corridor with Tiny and Oshken following me, I gently pushed open the kitchen door. Sighing when I noticed the lights were still on, I reached in and flicked off the lights.

Oshken floated in and formed at the table.

"Oh dear, sorry Oshken, I forgot to turn the lights off again," mum apologised quickly.

Oshken debated saying something to comfort mum but decided against it as mum had a unique ability to identify any lie told to her. If one didn't know better it could be mistaken for her Quirk. Oshken smiled when a small plate of food was placed in front of him. "Cookies!"

Tiny rolled her eyes as a small pile of meatballs were placed in front of her. Her tail wagged happily as she nibbled into the meat. Dic and Dom were given some sugary crumbs to eat and I got an actual meal. I should go feed Bubbles but I can't be bothered to wake him so he'll have to do it himself.

I bidded mum goodbye before gently coaxing Oshken into my bag. If he wanted to come to school then he needed to learn to hide in my bag. Once my ghost was safely secure in my bag, I hopped out. Tiny walked beside me while Dom fluttered around my ear. Dic and I were cheerfully conversing making people look at us but I couldn't care less.

U.A was spectacular as always. Kacchan was noisy as always. He had his feet up on the desk as the boy with blue hair shouted at him. Pushing passed the loud people, I went to my desk and pulled out the book I had been reading earlier. I couldn't stop the giggle raise from my throat as the author tried- and failed- to write the 'monster' killing one of the characters. This was so stupid.

"If your here to make friends, I suggest you leave." Glancing up I noticed a weird yellow caterpillar wiggling across the classroom floor.

...Right, I’m guessing I mistook that. Looking up properly this time, I could see that the weird caterpillar was actually our teacher and he looked very tired. His yellow appearance came from a yellow sleeping bag that he had been wearing. I feel like I should know who this is... that scarf feels familiar but I can't quite place it.

And I miss the lecture. Oh well, time to act as if I know what is going on. Skipping down the corridor, I giggled a little as Tiny shouted at me, "let's play Izu!"

"Later Tiny," I promised as she pouted but jumped into my arms.

I could feel everyone looking at me but I shrugged it off. Once we got changed, we went towards the field. Our teacher was waiting for us. He called me over and told me to throw a ball with my quirk.

I could hear some of the class talking behind me.

"So he got first place," a boy with yellow hair commented.

"I thought the girl who destroyed the zero pointer would be first place," a girl with purple hair added. "She isn't here at all, you think she didn't get in?"

"Izu, don't," Dom warned me as I smirked.

"They want to meet Charlie, they'll meet Charlie," I giggled. I held out my hands and watched the ink like blood stretch out.  This time, Charlie wasn't singing as she appeared in front of us. "Please throw this." I handed her the ball as she raised her eyebrow in an unimpressed manner.

"Alright, since you're the boss," Charlie sang in a sing-song way. She turned back around and threw the ball with all her power. A large shock wave echoed out, knocking some of the class off their feet. Tiny was the only reason Dic and Dom didn't fly away from the shock wave.

"Told ya she would be a good ally," Dic shouted proudly as Charlie looked at us weirdly.

The class looked confused but I ignored them, favouring making sure Charlie wouldn't kill anyone. Our teacher went on to explain how in middle school we had to do the fitness tests without our Quirks which is unrepresentative of real-life and Quirks. We had to do a fitness test with Quirks.

First was the 50m dash in which I got Charlie to teleport me to the finish line. Then there was a grip strength which I was on my for- I was not very strong and so I didn't do very well. Then there was a standing long jump that Dom helped me with. He gave me these cool robotic wings that defied all laws of physics. We fluttered up from the ground and zoomed forward, giggling the whole way. That was fun!

We had the repeated side steps which were fun. I had Tiny, Dic and Dom holding out a paper to provide shade while Charlie and Oshken played swingball with me. I probably shouldn't have enjoyed that as much as I did.

The rest of the class had to complete the ball throw before we got into a distance run. Dom provided me with some jet-powered roller skates to blast me around. "Weeeeeeeeee!"

The seated toe touch was less fun and more painful. This just hurts!

Sit-ups were worse! So, so, so much worse! Charlie lifted my body and forced me to do it, which ended up with me silently crying while Tiny scolded Charlie who couldn't work out what she did wrong. Oshken threw me a cookie from out of the shadows and let me munch on it.

At least it was over!

I recalled Charlie- something she was not happy about- while stroking Tiny's fur. Aizawa- I finally learnt his name- announced that I got first place and that a guy named Hagakure got last but he didn't expel her.

Yawning, I placed my head down on the desk, everything hurt.

"Hey, are you alright?" Tilting my head up I could see the same purple-haired girl from earlier. She had weird things dangling from her earlobe that reminded me of the cord you have on your headphones.

"Yeah, just tired." I stretched out, sighing contently when I heard a click.

"That girl, Charlie, she is from Addicted Blood, isn't she?"

"Yeah!" Hopping up as if I had three months of energy in me, I swiftly launched into a full-on lecture about the book. The girl looked slightly overwhelmed but made a quick recovery and joined in.

"You seem to like horror stories," a boy with a bird head observed.

"It is not just about the horror. It's the thrill and the love story and the gore! I need to get a better horror story to read, the one I got at the moment is really stupid and badly written. By the way, what’re your names? I'm Izuku. Izuku Midoriya. This is Tiny, Dic, Dom and Oshken."

"I'm Jiro Kyoka."

"Tokoyami."
