Part 17~Bloody Pages

"Well, that was an educational experience. I never knew how much blood Mikst had." I wiped the blood off my cheek as I walked into the hospital wing. Todoroki and Iida looked up as they gasped at me. As it turns out Todoroki had been in the area as well and had gotten caught up in the fight. I shook my head, spraying blood on the walls. I was drenched head to toe in blood and still had a knife in my hand which could make me look intimidating if I wasn’t wearing oversized clothes and a cat perched on my shoulders. "Oh relax, he didn't feel... a lot of pain. Besides, it was this or the electric chair and I thought this was a bit more humane." Placing the knife down, I hissed at the loud sound echoing off the walls.

"There he is!"

I screamed as someone tackled me to the ground. "Hey! What are you doing?! Hey! Let me go!" Tiny jumped off my shoulders, laughing into her blood-soaked paw.

"Izuku!"

Pouting, I crossed my arms over my chest as Tokoyami played with my hair. I had been forced to change a little after Ectoplasm arrived on the scene and I had to take a shower. My hair was always super fluffy after a shower and Tokoyami was taking full advantage of that fact.

Ectoplasm was explaining to the hospital staff and police why I had been covered in blood as Hawks laughed loudly. Iida and Todoroki sat on their respective beds as the debate continued. It wasn't long before the conversation turned to them as well.

The police told us off for getting involved in the fight since we didn't have our Hero licence and it was illegal. After deciding that Endeavour would be the one to take the credit, everyone left, leaving Iida, Todoroki, Tokoyami and I alone.

"I'll give you a couple of minutes but we'll need to get back on patrol." Hawks waved his hand above his head as he walked out.

Tokoyami sighed as he pulled me closer. He rested his chin on my head, as Dark Shadow curled on my lap. "Will you be alright?"

I nodded, nuzzling into his chest. "Yeah, now that I've dealt with Mikst I will probably go back to working with Ectoplasm. Though I think he's a little mad with us."

"No kidding. He looked like he was about to punch you through the wall."

Giggling, I spun to look at him. I wrapped my arms around his neck as I smiled. He blushed, hiding his face slightly as I placed a kiss on his cheek. "You're too cute!" If possible, Tokoyami blushed even more.

I could hear snickering coming from beside the door as Hawks leaned against the door frame. "Alright Tokoyami, time to go."

Sighing, I fell to the bed as Tokoyami tried to stand up. I didn't want to let go, still having my arms wrapped around his neck. "Come on Izuku. I've got to go." Tokoyami ducked under my arms, pressing our foreheads together. "I'll see you soon."

Tokoyami walked over to Hawks, following the other bird out. I fell back on my bed, sighing heavily as I suddenly became hyper-aware of the fact that Todoroki had been filming us.

Ectoplasm was about to snap. The incident with Stain had not stopped me from working with Ectoplasm and destroying his training grounds again. At least we were learning a lot. Manly not to mess with Ectoplasm during his lunch break.

I waved goodbye to Ectoplasm before charging into the building and leaving him to head towards the teacher's lounge. I ran into the classroom, tackling Tokoyami while giggling. "Tokoyami!" Tokoyami let out a chuckle as he wrapped his arms around me.

"Oh, will you two save the relationship stuff till after class? It's insulting to those of us who are still single," Kaminari complained as Jiro laughed evilly.

"Better get used to it then, no one is going to be stupid enough to take you." She leaned back as Kaminari screamed in protest, missing Oshken's longing look from under the table. "So, Izuku, how was the internship with Ectoplasm?"

I hummed, thinking over the best answer. "Well, it was interesting. I destroyed a building, murdered and snake and got tackled by the police." Everyone turned to me in a mix of horror and awe as I chuckled. "Of course I brought the snake into existence so it wasn't that bad. Mikst was a necessary evil for the situation." I crossed my arms over my chest as I nodded in pride.

Tokoyami shook his head as Jiro chuckled a little. Kaminari still looked pale at the idea that I had killed someone- even if they were just a book character and a snake.

Eventually, All Might collected us and took us to the training city. Sero, Mina, Iida, Uraraka and I were all in a race to 'rescue' All Might first. I stretched out my arm as the buzzer went off. Iida dashed forward using his engines to go faster. Mina and Sero slid along like usual as I summoned Charlie who swung me into the air. I spotted All Might as I started directing my flight.

Out of the corner of my eye, I spotted something very strange. Uraraka was surrounded by pink lightning, running faster than I had ever seen before. Her moves felt oddly familiar as I narrowed my eyes. Those were Kacchan's moves. She looked like she was about to win when she fell off the pipe. Landing on the pipe, I dashed the final length and won the match.

All Might gave me a sash that I instantly gave to Charlie who wore it with pride. I couldn't help but notice All Might whispering to Uraraka. I wonder what that was all about.

Jiro walked with Charlie who still wore the sash proudly. They talked about their internships as I interlocked Tokoyami and my hands together. I swung our hands back and forth while we talked about the upcoming exams. Jiro was not looking forward to the exams but it wasn't like she was bad at the exams. Charlie smirked as she knew she didn't have to take the exams.

Tiny was laughing as she tried to tackle Oshken- a task that seems to become more and more common the more they spent time together. Freezing, Tiny pushed her head through the cracked door, listening to the conversation going on inside. "All for one?"

Tilting my head, I searched for the missing cat. "Tiny? You coming?"

"Yeah!"
