Tears fell down his face as he curled further in on himself. Bruises littered across his broken skin, hidden under the long sleeve shirt. He found it hard to breathe, his ribs were broken and poking into his lung.

"What is wrong, young child?"

Slowly, Izuku Midoriya lifted his head, his vibrant green curls falling around his face and into his eyes. In front of him, a small fluffy kitten sat to attention. Its main body was covered in ginger fur and had a red collar around its neck.

Upon closer inspection, the cat was a toy, a small fluffy teddy bear. The collar around the toy's neck was engraved to read 'Tiny'. There wasn't anything else written so Izuku guessed that was the cat's name.

Where did the voice come from?

Izuku gently brought his hand to brush against the soft fur before pulling it close to his chest and crying into the fluffy fabric.

"There, there, little one. Don't be upset, soon everything will be better and we can play together," the voice said again. It was a child's voice, high pitch and innocent. Too innocent. Too sweet.

Izuku jumped back, holding out his arms to push Tiny away from himself. Tiny tilted its head and swayed its tail before rubbing against Izuku's hand.

"Do not be afraid, child. I'm Tiny. You summoned me to make you feel better, then we can play," Tiny explained as Izuku brought her into his lap.

"I summoned you?" Izuku knew who Tiny was, he remembered the book. It was a horror story he had found last year. The first horror story Izuku got to read. Izuku loved horror stories. The adrenalin that would pump through his veins. The characters that were always more interesting than the other stories. The twists and turns and jump scares that made it hard to predict. He loved every bit of it.

"Yes, you summoned me. Do not ask me how, I do not know." TIny let out a high pitch giggle before lifting herself and purring against Izuku's chest. "Tell me why you were crying, young one."

"Some of my classmate's were picking on me. They don't like me because I'm different," Izuku said sadly.

"And they gave you the bruises?" Izuku nodded as Tiny curled up some more, providing a basic form of comfort.

Tiny smile as the child fell asleep. Her child. No one hurts her child.

"Breaking news, the local preschool was attacked earlier today. Students from all around the school were turned into stuffed toys. No ransom has been claimed or credited. The suspect has yet to be identified. We can only hope there is a way to reverse the Quirk without the villain."

A picture was next to the news reporter, the word 'apologize' written in blood next to the stuffed students, all laying on the floor in the hall.

"Tiny! Turn them back! You need to turn them back!" Izuku's heart was hammering against his chest, Tiny curled in his arms.

"They will turn back when they apologize to you. I am meant to protect you and that is what I'll do. Now let's go play."
