Part 17: Buying Flowers For The Other

'Ah!' Oikawa sighed exasperated. 'What flower should I get for him? There's a lot of beautiful ones and I can't choose!'

He massaged his forehead and sighed heavily, eyeing the flowers one by one.

Few Hours Ago...

"Eh?! Iwa-chan, this is a stupid ide-OW! OKAY, OKAY!" Oikawa pouts and tries to get Iwaizumi's hand off of his ear.

"You better behave, ShittyKawa. I'm already helping you! Just buy him flowers for a surprise! It ain't that hard!" Iwaizumi retorts back, pulling on his ear harder, causing Oikawa to cry out loud.

Kageyama was currently coming home tonight from visiting his grandma, and Oikawa wanted to surprise him with something.

And he just needed the so-called mighty Iwa-chan for advice.

Wished he didn't though.

"But I don't even know where to find pretty flowers!"

"Are you stupid? Go to a flower-shop, duh."

"DOES A FLOWER SHOP HAVE SUNFLOWERS IN IT--"

"OF COURSE IT DOES, NOW GO!"

After practically forcing Oikawa to stop being lazy and buy flowers, the boy finally gives in.

"Ah! I'll get this one please!" Oikawa said and grabbed the small sunflower in his hands, making sure to be careful.

"Alright!" The old man who owned the place called out and led Oikawa to the cash register.

Oikawa payed for the flower and he bid the man goodbye, exiting the shop with a small smile.

Now that was taken care of...It was time to go back home.

Oikawa gaped at Kageyama, who gawked back at him.

"Y-You also have a f-flower!" Both shouted and a line of silence follows.

"Pfft-" The two boys shared a light chuckle and exchanged their flowers.

Oikawa's favorite flower was a blue delphinium, while Kageyama's was a sunflower.

Both sniffed their flower and gave the other a loving look.

"Did we have the same-"

"Totally..."

Kageyama engulfed Oikawa into a tight hug and sighed in bliss, resting his head on Oikawa's shoulder.

"What a lovely surprise this is."

And for the first time in life, Oikawa was relieved with Iwaizumi's advice.
