Description/Summary/Idea: A girl and a guy break up. Both of them are devastated and hurt. They decide to try and make the other one jealous by going out with other people and acting like they aren't affected. Each of them though eventually cave and get back together because they were both madly in love with each other.

Genre: Teen Fiction

Possible Titles: Battle of the Exes, Monkey See, Monkey Do, Crack

Why?: Battle of the Exes - play off 'battle of the sexes', they compete to see who'll make the other one most jealous while hiding their true feelings, they're exes
Monkey See, Monkey Do - they see one another with other people, see one another without pain, do try to make the other jealous
Crack - both feel like hearts have been cracked (broken), in the end they both crack and confess they're real love for each other

Additional: I definitely suggest the title Battle of the Exes; I love it! Also, I'd totally make them have a huge falling out and tears and being upset and yelling at each other where they each confess that they still love each other. And then a big spectacular kiss, maybe? They could break up because they were fighting over a lot of different things. Like maybe one of them was doing poorly in school, and the other one was encouraging them to do better, and they misinterpreted it. I don't know.
