"Sorry- a date?" I ask again for clarification.

He enthusiastically nodded in response, "I don't think you have a say in this actually. This is payment for my coat."

"Why would you want a date? With me?"

Jimin shrugged, "I don't know. Maybe I like you?"

I tried to process what he said. Did I hear it correctly or am I just really drunk and now I am acting in a scene of what my nightmare would like I created in my head?

"Anyways date is at 6 pm tonight, I hope you sober up a little and I'll pick you up." he said and left my flat.

What is up with him leaving as a way to end the conversation? Like can't he just say goodbye?

I stand there as I wasn't still able to take in the information that was thrown at me like a book landing on my face. Ugh, God, before anything else- "What is that smell?"

I look around and look to what I was holding. Oh right, puke. I hurried to clean his coat whilst I fixed up the house. I guess I have a date to go to.

——

I got ready, I got my dress on, I got my makeup on, I did my hair. And now it was time to wait for Jimin's call. Something I wasn't so used too.

I instinctively went out the door and almost booked an uber but then I remembered that Jimin will be picking me up. Taehyung could never. Yeah he'd take me out at night, but I had to go there myself and it would usually be a bar.

Come to think of it, I wonder where we'll be going?

That question was soon to be answered as my phone rang and it was Jimin telling me to come down. I did what he said and went into his car. Before I settled down, I put on my seatbelt and got myself comfortable and looked to my left to greet Jimin — who was looking quite dashing.

"You look amazing." Jimin complimented, "I love the way you did your hair today."

"Wha- you noticed?" I asked surprised.

"How could I not? You should do your hair like this more often." he said before starting to drive again to the location.

It made me quite shocked because I have done this hairstyle when I was with Taehyung and he didn't seem to like it saying it was too muchI'm blabbering about Taehyung again.

This is probably the only time I felt guilt. Going on a date with Jimin and pointing out what Taehyung would and would not do. Comparing him as if one is better than the other.

Fuck, I can't seem to get Taehyung off my mind. Perhaps, is it be bacause I li- No. I know my limits and know I wouldn't cross that line.

But, I can't stop me.

We reached the destination and headed inside. It was a nice restaurant with dimmed lights which sets the mood. The smell of wine would fill the air whilst jazz music would play in the background. This is so much different than the places I'd go with Taehyung.

"Reservation for Park Jimin." He said to the waiter as he showed us to our table.

Jimin was kind enough to pull out the chair for me to sit on before sitting to his side.

"So, what do you want to order?" He gave the second menu to me and I looked through it.

Damn, I knew it was going to be expensive but did not expect it will give you small options. Plus, Jimin was paying making me all cautious of what I eat.

"Uh- How much does your coat cost?" I ask, covering half my face with the menu so only my eyes were seen from his point of view.

Jimin chuckled, a charming point of his. How his eyes crinkle up and how his cheeks would puff up. "Really? Come on, don't worry about that. That was just a little gateway to you. I know you like steak, shall we order their sirloin?"

I was speechless, I don't even know what I want. "Uh- yeah sure- how about you, what are you ordering?"

"Pasta, cause I know you like that too." he smiled and called the waiter and took our orders. He looks back to me whilst talking, "Wine sounds alright for you?"

I nod and he continued to complete our order. After that, he turned his attention back to me and we exchanged words. He told some funny stories, making me comfortable.

After some time, our food comes in. He cuts the steak for me and we started eating, he'd occasionally feed me which made me blush. We'd clink our glasses before drinking wine which was funny because we actually had no knowledge about wine.

"Hmm," he imitates a wine tester, "Tastes nutty with a hint of-" he takes a sip again, "Fruit?"

"Jimin, of course it would taste like fruit. Wine is made out of fruit." I stated, I don't know a lot but isn't this common knowledge?

Jimin jokingly mocked me before we burst out laughing at our attempt of looking boujee. After that, we ended talking some more.

"So, have you taught about it?" he said as he twirled some pasta on his fork and handing it out to me.

I ate it before replying, "What?" I said through munches.

"I like you."
