How this ended up happening is honestly a mystery to everyone there. If they had to guess, Yeet probably said something, Discord gave a sarcastic retort that challenged him, and yet now here they are.
Everybody in the room was in onesies and doing different things. Kora was standing in a corner with his arms crossed, the tiger onesie hood pulled up over his head as he watched the room.
Yeet, in a lockness monster onesie, was busy arguing Speedy and Memegod about some odd topic, who were respectively in a panda and dragon onesie.
Discord was chatting happily with Machen and Revved, one who was in a red octopus onesie, the other one a sloth.
V was in a bunny suit and holding onto Memegod's arm as he talked to the others.
Discord had essentially muted the ones who were arguing, as she didn't really have the patience to deal with Yeet's stupidity at the moment. She just wanted to have a calm and chill day.
"Yeet..." Discord heard Kora say, and she immediately turned around with a confused expression. She saw Kora staring at Yeet with a solid deadpan.
"No no- listen!" Yeet interrupted him, putting his hands up.
"What happened?" Discord asked, walking over to her lover. Kora leaned over and whispered on her ear, and she stared right at Yeet with wide eyes.
"Uh-oh." Speedy and Meme said, noticing that she looked *horrified*, and Yeet was probably dead.
"Do you wanna say what you said again? Hm? Do you? Surely I'll find it funny." Discord challenged him, obviously testing how far he will go to back up his joke.
"no, I-" Yeet got cut off by Kora.
"No but's. That's not funny, in fact it's quite clearly insulting. Would you feel comfortable saying that to Discord? or V?" Kora asked, glaring at him slightly.
Kora and Discord's postures were almost the exact same, stoic and almost stiff, commanding presence. The only difference was that Kora had his arms crossed in front of him, and Discord held her hands on her hips.
"No, but-" "There isn't any buts. That joke is sexist and wrong and I will not allow it to be said in my dorm." Discord said in a strong tone. "You need to watch and know the things you say and how they come off. We are being easy on you right now, but you won't be that lucky with others." Discord warned him.
"Exactly." Kora nodded.
There was, however, something oddly comical about a tiger and a fox trying to argue with a seaweed monster.
"i'm sorry.." Yeet trailed off in a quiet voice.
Speedy however, the sweet kid, spoke up and changed the topic to something that had happened to him in real life. Sparing Yeet from further reprimand, and giving the couple the chance to slip away.
"I'm gonna go to the couch." Kora told her, Discord nodding and stepping aside to let him walk past her, assuming her just wanted to be alone, until he took her hand when he passed her and pulled her with him.
He sat down on the couch and pulled Discord onto his lap, wrapping an arm around her as they continued to watch the room casually like a married couple supervising their own children.
Theoretically, that's exactly what they were doing.
