Chapter 2- The Plane Journey.

So the plane journey was an interesting one. Here's what happened. So when we got on she first asked me if I wanted to learn to fly a plane. I said not right now and used the fact that I wanted to know where we were going as an excuse not to learn. Her reply was " Oh yes, I havn't told you where we are going or what we are doing yet have I? I am so sorry. I assume everyone else knows where we are going and what we are doing."

So it turned out we were going to Nevada to do some psych evals up close with the prison guards because there was a riot there a week ago and it was pretty violent. I asked why I was going and not Morgan or Prentiss because they would be better at doing this than me. She just kept saying "You are the best for the job". It was silent after that, then she announces we would be meeting her father and brother as soon as we landed. I didn't know what to say to that so I changed the subject. I asked her about what happened this morning in the bullpen between her and Strauss and she explained to me that Strauss is below her in the Chain of Authority and that she had no power over what she did because she is Level 1 and Strauss was only Level 3 so she had more authority and power than Strauss. I liked that someone on the team could stand up to Strauss when the rest of us would get in trouble for saying things like what she said this morning.

Nothing else happened on the plane that day.
