Chapter 10- Holiday part 2

Chapter 10: Holiday Part 2

So me and Alison were having and amazing time in New York. It was only our second day and we were having a brilliant time. We did all the touristy stuff because I had never seen that part of New York. We went to the Statue of Liberty and the view was amazing. We went to the Empire state building and it was huge. I know people always say stuff like that but it really was massive. She insisted we go shopping because we would need souvenirs to prove that we were here, but I think she just wanted to go clothes shopping. I didn't mind because I wanted to get her a gift because tomorrow was our 6 month anniversary and I wanted to do something special. I had talked to Mac secretly and asked where her favourite place in New York was and she said it was Central Park.

I had it all planned out. We would go to the Opera and then I would have a midnight picnic set up in the park just for her. I really hoped she would like it. So we went to Macy's and I said I would meet her back here in an hour. I had planned to meet Stella and Lindsey here and they were going to help me pick out something for her that she would like. Their timing was impeccable, they came through the door just as she walked away and was out of sight. We went straight to the Jewelery section and I picked out a 14 carat gold tennis bracelet and matching necklace. Then Stella suggested shoes. I knew what size shoe she wore but I didn't know what she liked. The girls really helped me out and they picked out a beautiful pair of cherry red Jimmy Choos.

So we still had a half hour left so I told the girls they go back to work now and I thanked them for all their help. I didn't know what to do so I went to get some things for the rest of the team. I got Rossi, Morgan and Hotch each a different New York Hoodie and I got Morgan a New York Mets hat because I knew he likes the Boston Red Socks. Just for a laugh. I got the girls each and pair of diamond earrings and a necklace to match. Each one different so they wouldn't have the same thing.

So the hour was up and I met Alison back downstairs at the main door and we went back to the Penthouse to have lunch. I told her over lunch that I got us tickets to see the Opera tomorrow to celebrate our anniversary. She got really excited because she loved going to the Opera. We then showed each other what we bought today. I of course hid the present I bought her but gave her the shoes because I bought them for her to wear tomorrow. She loved them and promised to wear them tomorrow with her red dress. So we made dinner reservations at the restaurant downstairs and just sat down and watched a movie until it was time to go for dinner.

It was the day of our anniversary and Alison was still asleep so I got up and made her breakfast in bed. She was really in a good mood when she woke up and saw me there with the tray. After  breakfast, she suggested we go for a morning swim in the pool. It was really nice, just the two of us. Sometimes when I'm with her I just forget about everything else like work and the world basically. After we finished swimming she went into the sauna and I went back to the Kitchen to write my Mom my daily letter. Of course I wouldn't say I was going out with Alison. But I would say I was in New York.

It was later that day and we were just about to go out the Opera when I and she got a phone call. It was Hotch. I knew it was too good to be true. We never get a week off when we don't get called back into work. When we told him where we were he told us to stay there and that he was already in New York already with the team. He told us where to meet him and to try get a hold of Prentiss. We were a little scared because we were staying in the same room and all dressed up to go out. Surely the team would ask questions if we turned up like this. So we came up with a plan. We say that we met Peter, Alison's brother here and we were all going to the Opera, and if they ask where Peter is, we say we told him to go on without us. And that after the Opera he was going home.
