Chapter 15: The Big Day

So today is the big day. I am really excited. I have chosen Morgan to be my best man because he was hoping to be, he even said so to Rossi, and Rossi said it back to me so I was happy to please him. Well anyway, I am currently in the middle of getting dressed, I needed some time to myself so I asked all the men to leave me alone for a while so I could "go over my vows"

I can't wait. In just a few very short hours, Alison Murphy will become Alison Reid. I can't wait. I feel like a child on Christmas Day. Of course, for work purposes, she will remain Agent Murphy, but everything else, she will be Mrs. Reid!!! Finally this day has arrived. I never thought that I would find someone that I could connect with.

Anyway. So I really must finish getting dressed. I promise I will write to you again later.

LATER THAT DAY!!

So today has been the GREATEST day of my life. I am officially married. We had a pretty big wedding. Alison organised everything. I will walk you through the day we had. Well I finished getting dressed and went downstairs to find all of my groomsmen standing there. I only had Morgan, Hotch, and Rossi. Morgan was my Best Man. So we all had a small glass of champagne to calm my nerves and Morgan said just before I drank "Kid, this is your last drink as a non-married man, enjoy it!" I laughed adn drank it.

After the drink it was time to go to the church. I was really nervous as we drove there. I was nearly hyperventilating as I stood there and waited for Alison to arrive. I was also scared she would stand me up. But then the music started and I saw her. She glided down the aisle. I had never seen such a beautiful sight!! So she came towards me and I had the biggest smile on my face and she had one to match. It came to the part where we say our vows. We decided to write our own because they would be more personal. She said hers, and they were beautiful. It was my turn. I started "Alison, the day I first saw you I knew I loved you. You are the one woman I will love more than anyone else in the world. I am finding it nearly impossible to find the words to say how much I love you, because there aren't enough words in the world to say how much you mean to me. I love forever"

When I finished, I looked up at her and she had tears in her eyes. The priest said "You may now kiss the bride" and as I kissed Alison, the whole church erupted into applause. l had to pull away because she wouldn't. We turned around and walked back down the aisle, hand in hand, husband and wife.

The reception was brilliant. I was always scared though that we would get called off on a case and I said it to Alison at one point, and she replied wIith, "Oh we aren't going anywhere, I told Strauss that if she called us out today, I would have her fired" I loved this woman so much but I never thought to ask her what she had over Strauss to make her so terrified of her. So I asked her. Everyone else was dancing at the minute so I thought we would be left alone for a while. I asked "Why is Strauss so scared of you?" She smiled and said "She made a huge mistake when she was a normal FBI agent. She covered up someone elses mistake and I caught her. She can't ever use it against me because if she says anything about it she will get fired. And also because of my high security rating. Level one you know" "So she is terrified of you because of a mistake she made?? Nice". We laughed and went down to the table where the CSI's from New York were.

We sat there for a while and before we realised it, it was time for us to go. We were going on our honeymoon and she had to get changed. She got into a beautiful red dress with matching heels. We got into my car and drove off to the airport.
