Amelia

"Why are you filming me?"

"Wilbur wants to put a vlog together, so I'm recording our side of the adventure!"

"Do you even know how to vlog?"

"Of course I do!"

Alicia's angry expression made me laugh. We were waiting at the end of the driveway, and I continually checked our surroundings until our Uber driver pulled up. The ride to the airport was silent, and I smiled to myself as Alicia filmed nearly the entire drive. Checking in for our flight went smoother than it did the first time I had flown to England.

"Wilbur~" Alicia cooed as Wilbur answered her Discord call.

"Hello." Wilbur replied.

"We're sitting at boarding already."

"Everything went well?"

"Yep!"

"That's good. I'll probably be there when you land. I think Phil will be a bit late, but I'm not too sure."

~

"Welcome to England."

Alicia looked around as we walked toward baggage claim, the camera glued to her palm like it had been for the entire flight. I noticed Wilbur before she did, and she looked at me as I took the camera from her.

"Alicia, I present to you Wilbur!" I laughed, moving the camera from her face to Wilbur, who was walking toward us, and I could tell he had a bright smile on his face even though he was wearing a face mask.

"Will!" Alicia screamed.

She sprinted toward him, and he laughed as she collided with him. I smiled as he approached me, Alicia clinging to his side.

"Hello, Amelia." He smiled.

"Hi, Wilbur." I replied.

We made small conversations as we waited for the last of our baggage to come around the conveyer belt, and we were heading toward the doors of the airport when Alicia took the camera from me. Wilbur's arm slipped around my shoulders, causing me to look up at him.

"I believe that you've been waiting for a certain someone." He said.

My eyes immediately started searching, and it felt as though there were butterflies in my stomach when I spotted him. Wilbur lowered his arm as Phil got closer, and I instantly started running. Phil lifted me up off of the ground when I was in arm's reach, and I held my forehead to his.

"I've been waiting for this since the day you left." He muttered.

"I won't have to leave this time." I reminded him.

He set me down when Wilbur and Alicia walked up to us, and he kept one arm around me as he offered a hand to Alicia.

"It's a pleasure to meet you in person, Alicia." He told her.

"Pleasure's all mine, Phil." Alicia giggled as she shook his hand.

Phil took my bag from Wilbur, and I took my suitcase before he could. The four of us continued our journey to the front doors.

"Have you got money for a ride home, Will?" Phil asked.

"Was planning on taking the train, honestly." Wilbur replied.

"You're going to take Alicia on a train? How many heads do you plan on decapitating today?"

I buried my face in Phil's chest to muffle my giggling. His body trembled as he laughed, his fingers running through my hair as a small form of affection.

"I drove here, so I can just take you home." He said.

"Are you sure that's alright? It's in the opposite direction."

"Just give me money for a full tank of gas, and I'll call it even."

The exchange of the money looked as though they were doing a drug deal, and I laughed as we started walking toward the car. Our luggage was put in the trunk, and I watched as Wilbur and Alicia got into the back seats. Phil smiled as he shut the trunk, and we both got into the car at the same time. I took my mask off, and I giggled as Phil leaned over the arm rest to kiss my forehead.

~

"I just wanted to let you know now. I have plans with Wilbur and Tommy tomorrow. You don't have to go if you don't want to, but I'm sure Tommy would be happy to meet you in person."

"I wouldn't mind going."

Phil hummed as I poked my food with my fork. He had made a really simple chicken dish, and he was watching me nearly the entire time.

"Does it not taste good to you?" He asked.

"The food's fine." I replied.

"Then why are you picking at it like that?"

"I'm just processing things."

"Like what?"

"Like actually being here and calling this place home."

He raised an eyebrow. "Is that a good thing or a bad thing?"

I couldn't help but giggle. "It's a good thing, Phil. I'm here in a safe place that I get to call home and share with you."

"Well, I'm glad that you consider this a safe place."

He put his hand down on the table, his palm facing the ceiling. I smiled as I laid my hand in his.

"Welcome home, Amelia."
