Author's Note

Hiya!

I've been doing my best to not put Author's Notes in this story, usually leaving little things at the ends of chapters instead of dedicating entire chapters to simple updates or things I want to say. It keeps the immersion with the story and the characters a lot better, in my opinion, but I really need to get a few things off my chest as to why I haven't been updating as often as I had been when I first started this story.

First thing is I have a really bad attention span. I haven't been diagnosed with anything, but I do know that I struggle greatly to focus on things for large amounts of time. This doesn't exactly help when I'm trying to write and have no idea what to write to begin with. A lot of the chapters I write are all in one go or done over several days and sometimes weeks. It's how I work, and I'm sorry if that leaves any of you disappointed in me or feeling like I'm not giving the story attention.

Second thing is I've recently experienced something incredibly personal that has been mentally draining to me. I won't get into it much simply for my own sake and all of yours, but it's hindering both my writing inspiration and my drive to do art (I'm not that great at it tbh I mostly design characters). I'm slowly getting back into what I was doing before what happened occurred with the help of a close friend of mine.

Third thing...... This one is kind of important to me. I understand that this is a Philza story, and I understand that his chat is very welcoming when it comes to comfort and other things. I must say that this is not the place for talking about inappropriate things or anything that relates to your personal lives. Topics can be triggering to others without you knowing it, and I want to keep a very wholesome comment section so that anyone and everyone can enjoy this and chat with each other without having to worry for their mental safety. We all have our own stories and things happening, so please keep that in mind when you say something in regards to your own personal life. I've already had to step away from this because of a recent comment made about someone's personal relationship because of an experience I had in my own life. I don't have control over what's in the comments and what's not. The only thing I can do is report the comment. I can't immediately delete it if I deem it triggering to some people. Feel free to reach out to people to talk, but please don't openly discuss things in my comment section on any of my works.
