I could hear the three men arguing with each other inside the cabin as I sat on the roof. I had found the new perching location favorable, more so now that there were four of us sharing the same space since Ghostbur had joined us. I was staring at the sky as the sound of a door being slammed was followed by silence, and I glanced to the side as a trap door opened. Technoblade had made the access point within his room so that he was the only one who could use it, preventing the wingless Tommy and flightless Ghostbur from getting onto the roof.

"Those two just never listen!" Technoblade huffed as he sat down beside me, his cape pooling around him and his crowd slowly sliding out of place.

"Did you really think you would be winning an argument two against one?" I asked, giggling to myself.

"I told them that the 'house' they're building is completely ruining the aesthetic and value of my property."

I reached over to him and snatched the crown off of his head, earning an angered grumble as I put it on my own. I could feel his gaze on me as I looked back up at the sky.

"You're missing him again, aren't you?" He asked.

"Missing who?"

"Philza."

"I never not miss him. We were rarely separated before we came here. Even during the short amount of time we were away from each other before ending up here, we were still always in contact."

Technoblade hummed in understanding as he leaned his head back, tilting it up toward the sky as he close his eyes. "I remember how you two always managed to find each other whenever we'd get separated on trips. I still don't understand how."

"Birds naturally find their ways home even without direction." I shrugged. "Perhaps Phil and I just consider each other home no matter where we are in the world."

"What is that child doing?"

I followed Technoblade's gaze to see Tommy a good thirty or forty feet from the house. Technoblade squinted as he leaned forward to get a better view.

"Is he placing cobblestone?" He asked.

"He's probably building a cobblestone tower. He always does."

"He better not be!"

I couldn't help but laugh as he hurried to his feet, launching himself off of the roof to sprint across the yard. I fixed the crown that sat on my head as I stood up, and I took a deep breath before I flapped my wings, flying over to the two arguing men.

"Alright! Enough yelling, boys!" I giggled as I landed between them, laying my hands on their shoulders. "Techno, just let him do as he pleases. It's not getting in the way of anything. Tommy, please don't start building things close to Techno's house. He might have plans to use the area around him."

I was quiet as I trudged through the snow. A letter from Phil had shown up on Technoblade's doorstep, delivered by a bird, stating that he'd be traveling through the nether to get the last of his things to the cabin since there was supposed to be a snow storm overnight. I wasn't sure if he'd be staying or not, but I knew that I at least wanted to meet him at the portal. Technoblade's crown was still haphazardly resting on my head, his cape now securely fastened over my shoulders as a barrier from the slowly falling snow. The pig man had insisted on me wearing it because I almost always never wore any clothes made for the cold weather.

The nether portal was a stand alone structure far away from the cabin. The soft purple glow on the snow provided very little light in the darkness, the ominous sounds emerging from the portal paling in comparison to the monsters around me. I kept a firm grip on my sword, stepping into the light of the portal and watching as the monsters all sheepishly shuffled around in the darkness.

The portal began making new noises, and I glanced at it as Phil materialized in front of it. He blinked a few times before glancing around, his wings fluffing up as his eyes fell on me. He jumped down from the portal's platform, and I giggled as he slipped his arms around me.

"Hi, Phil!" I smiled as he lifted me up off of the ground. "I thought you'd like a little welcoming party! Everyone back at the cabin fell asleep before I came out here."

"How have you been doing?" He asked, setting me down gently but keeping his arms around me.

"I've been alright. Tommy knows I'm not his mother, and Techno keeps me busy during the day." I replied. "How have you been?"

"Being on house arrest has driven me insane." He answered, burying his face in my hair. "I don't even want to go back. I want to stay here."

"Then don't go back." I whispered. "Stay with me."

The sound of a zombie groaning as it approached startled me, and Phil was taken by surprise as I pushed him away. I turned on my heel and sliced through the zombie with ease. I staggered back as the blood splattered onto my clothes, and I groaned when I realized some had gotten on Technoblade's cape.

"He's going to kill me! He just got all the blood stains out yesterday!" I huffed.

"That's the first time you've done that in front of me." Phil chuckled.

"First time I've done what?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

"You usually let me kill zombies and skeletons if we're traveling at night." He folded his arms over his chest as he smirked.

"Maybe living with Techno has made me more independent. Is that a problem, Flyboy?"  I flicked the sword slightly, watching the blood splatter onto the snow.

"Do you hear me complaining?"

I slid my sword into the sheath hooked to my hip and nodded my head toward the cabin. "Let's get going before that snowstorm starts."

"As you wish, Your highness."

"Don't call me that."
