"Shit is that the time already?" You whine looking at the cat-shaped clock on your wall slowly rolling your arms to ease the tension, "maybe going for a run will help' you mumbled to yourself quickly throwing on your running gear and trainers before locking the flat door behind you.

After your parents died you was left with a generous amount of money which would see you through high school allowing you to get your place. It's sad living on your own sometimes but a good old run clears the mind "HEY Y/N!" Your face looking up to see none other than Bokuto waving at you from the other side of the river "HEY!" You wave back twice as more enthusiastic when your conversation with Akaashi floats back into your mind...

"I'm going to move on from him you know" your words filled with determination as he chokes on his water "you sure about that?" His gaze looking for any signs of regret. "One hundred percent! How hard can it be!".

"This isn't going to be so easy after all" as you jog across the bridge to catch up to him.

"NO, SHE ISNT! YOU'RE THE ONE WITH THE PROBLEM! AFTER WE SAW EACH OTHER AT THE RIVERBANK YOU, YOU SENT HER SHITTY TEXT MESSAGES AND WAS RUNNING HER NAME THROUGH THE MUD!" Your mouth smacking the floor at the accusations against you.

"Wow! And you believe her? You think I would bend that low, I love you Bokuto and I want you to be happy so I would never ever do anything to kill that, I have tried to fight these feelings so much hoping that it was all just a hallucination but when you kissed me suddenly that day on the roof I thought you felt the same, but clearly I was wrong as you started dating her the next day". All the frustration you once had now turning into sadness.

"You love me?" His question one of disbelief as he closes the gap between you and cups your hands with his.
