Epilogue
___________
Two years later

Rose had settled in a small little town in Washington state. Mostly kept to herself. What she appreciated about small towns, meant no one would bother her. The state she lived in was riddled with rain and an endless ocean with beautiful sunsets. All three reminded her of Richard. She could only keep him alive in her memories. It kept her sane until she moved on properly.

On a stormy night, right after getting into bed. She settled into the emptiness of her blankets. Ocasional creaking from the outside trees lulled her into sleep. The darkness in her room sometimes made her see figures that weren't there. So when she saw something sitting on her chair, which was always drowned in clothing, she took no thought to it. Hugging her pillow, she stirred around. The side of her mattress sank.
Something had joined her in bed.

"As if the king of lies would hold the end of his deal with witches."

Rose shot up, his curly mane moved as a breeze blew in through her opened window, half of his face was illuminated by the moonbeams peaking in from behind tucked clouds. Richard smiled in the darkness, reaching up to stroke her cheek.

"Oh how I've missed you little girl."

Hello <3 your fellow author here.
Wow, I'm literally speechless. I don't want to get sappy or anything. But I would love to thank everyone who has read and enjoyed Inferno.
It literally means the world to me. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect this to get as much attention as it did.
To everyone who has been here since the beginning.
Thank you so much for the support!
I hope you all enjoyed my book. Expect more work from me in the future.
For now, I'll be taking a short break.

Have a safe summer! & remember to keep your windows closed ;) <3

This epilogue has been dedicated to all the girls in my Instagram group chat. You're all resilient beautiful souls. Thank you for being there!

Sincerely,

Kira.
