Rose was helped out of the crawl space and met with a warmer atmosphere, her body shivering uncontrollably beneath the layer of her damp clothes. "I'm Rose, I was on bad date and walked off.." The strange girl looked through her clothes as she listened, "I was honestly lost and those men you saw out there followed me and chased me all the way here." The girl stared at her and handed her a white blouse and some shorts, "you're lucky they didn't murder you on these grounds, is it still 2019?" She asked, which earned a nod from Rose . "My name is Montana by the way, it's a pleasure to meet you Rose." She extended her hand, the girl across from her lightly connected with hers and shook softly.
"Bad date?" Montana asked, "he was my ex boyfriend, wanted to patch things up—but you really can't get over infidelity too easily." Rose began to quietly change into the dry clothes, peeling off the wet fabric from her body. Montana watched while settling down on the bed across, "The girl he cheated with, showed up and confronted me?" It didn't make sense, how do you confront someone when you're in the wrong? That girl was off in the head.
"So I walked off and kind of left town, I walked for hours." She paused, moving a few strands of hair away from her face. "In all honesty I was lost, trees was all I saw." Rose glanced down, "then those guys began to follow me and eventually caught up and chased me all the way here." She looked out the window, it was already pretty dark. The sun had just finished tucking itself below the horizon. The entire place felt creeper, but there was a sense of peace to it.
"Sounds like you had a shit day—" Montana was interrupted mid sentence as someone stepped into the Cabin. "Oh? Who's this?" The man looked like he was in his mid 40s or early 50s. "Rose, this is Trevor— Trevor this is Rose." He offered a smile and Rose gestured back with a small wave. "Guess we should go over with who she can interact with and who she shouldn't." Trevor looked at Montana, who nodded. Rose stared at the pair with slight confusion in her eyes. "Huh?"
"Grab the book, Donna was so sweet in leaving old pictures of everyone here—" Montana muttered while Trevor rummaged through a bookshelf, until he grabbed a small red book and pulled it open. "Okay, so this is us— we're totally safe." Staring at the images, Rose couldn't help but to smile. They looked so silly, it was as if they were in 80s costumes. Montana turned the page, "This is Xavier, Chet, and Ray— completely safe too." The trio was extremely attractive, they had amazing bodies too. "I doubt you'll ever see Benjamin, then there's these guys and Bertie.." Montana paused and looked at Rose, "These are all good people, but if you see any of these— Run or get away." She turned another page.
Rose felt her heart drop to her stomach, If anyone could see. Her pupils were probably extremely dilated. "This is Richard, we have him secured off— he's extremely dangerous— and this woman, if you see her." She pointed to an image of an innocent looking female, "This is Margaret, stay away from her too." The strawberry blonde didn't know what to make of this, all she did was simply nod. "Okay, I will."
She didn't comprehend why she had to do such things, she didn't understand why they were acting like this. Why were they here? These cabins had been abandoned and haunted for ages. "This is Camp Redwood, isn't it?" She asked quietly, which they nodded.
Rose really needed to leave, anyone who stepped foot here went missing without a trace. No bodies, nothing. What if she ended up the same way? Sighing she rubbed her eyes. "Richard is about to wake up, we should go to the shed and watch the show Bertie and Xavier are going to put on."
"Show?" Rose asked, they nodded. Montana pulled her up and dragged her along. Trevor pushed the cabin door open, and they were met by darkness. Quietly, they began to walk together.
