Rose fluttered her heavy eyes open, music was blaring from her phone. She could faintly recognize the song, possibly Billy Idol—every noise felt as if it was scrambling her brain, she rolled over and sat up in an attempt to familiarize herself with her surroundings. There was a ringing in her ears, her lungs stung with every breath she took. Rubbing her temple, she glanced around. She was located in a grimy old motel. Pulling away from the stiff mattress, she quietly walked toward the front door and pulled it open. The thick humid summer air slapped against her cold skin, "what the hell?" She muttered in pure confusion. One moment she was on the ground suffocating for air, and the next— she's at a shitty wanna-be-motel-6: which happened to be in the middle of nowhere. Looking both directions, the parking lot was empty—except for the one crappy Nisan, who she could assume belonged to the worker, that she could see from where she stood.

"You're finally awake." A deep grasp voice called out to her in the bathroom, the hairs in the nape of her neck stood up. Something grabbed her by the back arm, but before she could turn around, she was pulled inside, the door was closed gently by a soft kick. It locked automatically. "Technology has become pretty advanced." He muttered, Rose now facing him, back placed against the wooden doorframe. She couldn't believe her eyes, her ribcage felt like it was cracking from her tired breathing, "You know— I could easily kill you." Richard smirked, leaning over and pressing his face against the crook of her neck. "But, it's not every day— that  a person sheds tears for me and lets me use their body as an escape vessel." He mumbled, goosebumps ran all over her body: They spread like a wild fire on her bare skin.

"Escape vessel? And you saw that?" She asked quietly as he pulled back, "You were possessed for a few hours, and of course I did— it was extremely heartwarming." Rose could tell he was using sarcasm for the last comment, the situation itself had blinded her from the sight amongst her. His hair was damp, dripping down onto his exposed chest. His denim jeans hung loosely on his hips as they were unbuttoned, his belt unbuckled as well. Rose swallowed hard and looked away, "Well, now that you dick rode my soul and body— I suppose it's time I get going." She reached for her shoes, but was quickly lifted off the ground and pushed back onto the mattress. He easily lifted her like if she was some lifeless rag doll.

"I don't think so." He chuckled, the edge of a sharp curved blade pressed against her neck, "I'm going to need your assistance in going through this new age." He paused tracing it up along her cheek, "frankly— I don't know what's new and what's going on." He retrieved the knife and ignored the flustered girl beneath his broad frame. His skin was warm against her cold one, she had never been this close to a man before, her heart was skipping beats out of nervousness. "What happens after you're accustomed?" Rose stared up at him, a few strands of her hair laid across her eyes. Gently, he moved them away. "You can leave, I'll be honest. I'm just going to use you for now— although if you leave me now." Richard shrugged casually with a pause "I'll find you, Satan will show me the way." The curly haired male smirked  "but don't go getting so used to me princess."

He shifted off her and walked back into the bathroom, as if nothing had happened. He didn't even let her protest or fight back— not even a sarcastic comment. She was left dazed and confused, her frail figure was shaking in anxiousness: it was becoming too much for her.
Removing her baby blue cardigan off, she laid on her side and curled under the blanket. Being the wreck she was, she decided sleeping it off would be better for herself — and for someone like Richard: she didn't want to become annoying and overbearing. It's the last thing she wanted to do.

Her eyes remained closed, until the mattress sunk beside her. Richard didn't utter a word, neither did she. Her back faced him and it remained like that for the rest of the night. Their breathing silent throughout the time, he didn't touch her— she didn't move an inch.
