The breeze was thick with humidity, trees leaned lightly at the winds command as it blew through the area. Rose shuddered, wiping the forming sweat beads on her forehead. She had been walking for hours, date gone bad. Her beaten up converse dragged along the road, "that stupid jerk." Her voice trembled in anger, a few tears couldn't help but to run down her cheeks, but before they could reach down her chin, the roar of an engine made her jump. "Hey there, let me give you a ride." She glanced back, clenching her jaw. There was a strange man, glaring at her figure without even trying, he was eyeing her intensely. His head was slightly sticking out of the window, from where she stood, she could tell how sketchy the entire situation was— but that wasn't even the worst thing: He wasn't alone. "Oh no, thank you..I'm about to reach my destination." She lied through her teeth.

She could see a grinning silhouette of a male figure, planted on the passenger seat, The man gestured to him. "I didn't ask, come here." He insisted, Rose shook her head. She could see them both slowly pushing the doors to the vehicle open, the seconds passing by felt eternal. "Get her!" The driver yelled. In a manner of seconds, adrenaline shot through her body. She had taken off running, they were hot on her trail. "Catch up!" The man screamed. Tears continued pouring out of her heavy eyes, staying on the road wouldn't do. Without much thought, she ran into the dense Forrest. Hoping the trees would come into her aid. The blonde girl didn't care if she got lost in the maze of trees.

Could this day get any worse? She thought, not looking back as her legs carried her as far as they could. It was as if she had spoken too soon, droplets began to pour down from the sky and slam onto her. At the rate that the water was falling at, she wouldn't be able to see in front of herself. Rustling and footsteps could be heard from behind her, she kept her pace until she reached a few disheveled cabins. Glancing back, she slowly walked into one and lightly closed the door behind herself.

"Let's beat it man, we obviously lost her and you left the car running." One of the men argued, "that stupid whore could've been good money for us." Rose crawled down into a small crawl space that had a small hole where she could peak from. "Oh well, too bad it isn't the eighties— our job would have been easier." He paused, draping his arm above his head in attempt to cover himself from the rain fall. "lets get out of here." He glanced around, "this place gives me the creeps." Quietly, they walked away in the direction she came, until they disappeared. It was eerily silent now. All she could hear was her uneven breathing and heart pounding in her ears.

"Yeah, too bad it isn't the eighties." A female voice behind her boomed loudly, causing Rose to look back with a gasp, she was suddenly face to face with a blonde girl who had a small smile. "Why are you here? Who are you?" She tilted her head to the side with a dead stare in her eyes.
