It was a rainy day at Beach City. Lion was laying outside under the porch of the house and he yawned before he took a nap. Meanwhile inside the Beach House, Steven, Ezra, and the Gems were sitting inside Steven's bedroom and eating popcorn and watching Lonely Blade IV in Japanese with English subtitles. On the TV screen, two characters confronted each other.
"Sore wa kimidatta! Anata wa watashi no ani o koroshita hitodeshita. Eien ni hitori de tatakau tame ni watashi o batō shimasu!" Lonely Blade said in Japanese.
"Oh Lonely Blade, you so lonely." Steven said as he was laying belly-down on top of Garnet's hair.
"Anata wa watashi o taosu koto ga dekiru to omoimasu ka? Shadousamurai seiken no daitōryō?!" Samurai President said before he unleashed a hidden sword in his map.
"What?! The janitor is the evil samurai president?!" Steven exclaimed. "That's bananas!"
"Oh come on, it was so obvious. He's been mopping in the background of every fight scene." Pearl said before she showed Steven the movie cover box. "Look, here he is on the cover of the box."
"Oh yeah." Steven said.
"Pearl, you totally called it." Ezra joked with a smile.
"Watashi no meiyo to watashi no kyōdai no tame ni! Watashi wa anata o uchitaoshimasu!" Lonely Blade said as he unsheathed and joined two swords together. "Būmeranburēdo!"
Lonely Blade threw the combined swords before Samurai President leapt upward and thrusted down.
"Sen no piasushadou... himei!" Samurai President cried out.
"Go, Lonely, go!" Steven cheered. "Do the Boomerang Blade again!"
"Oh come on, this is ridiculous." Pearl complained. "Just look at their form, this is nothing like real sword fighting."
Garnet and Amethyst shushed her.
"It's just a movie, Pearl." Steven laughed before he ate a handful of popcorn.
"Well, if you ever want to see a demonstration of proper sword techniques, I'd be happy to show you." Pearl suggested.
Steven put his hand on Pearl's head and stared at her, excitedly.
"Now?" Pearl asked.

Everyone moved to a large open area with tiled ground and marble obelisks lining both sides of the area. The place is surrounded by low hanging clouds. This was Pearl's Battle Arena.
"Alright, in order to give a proper demonstration I'm going to need a sparring partner." Pearl said as she held two swords.
Steven tried to raise his hand and Garnet immediately lowered it.
"Luckily, I have the perfect candidate right here." Pearl continued before she did a short ballet and summoned a Holo-Pearl from her gem.
"Cooool!" Steven gushed. "Hologram Pearl!"
"Ah, geez." Amethyst muttered as she was lying on a small cloud.
"I know, that's kinda sad." Ezra whispered to Amethyst.
"Do you wish to engage in combat?" Holo-Pearl asked.
"Let this be the perfect battle." Pearl complemented as she threw a sword at Holo-Pearl.
"You've already made a mistake by challenging me!" Holo-Pearl said as she caught the sword.
"We shall let our swords decide." Pearl laughed.
