Steven and the Stevens

At a Sea Shrine, the Crystal Gems were exploring the Sea Shrine and looking around a series of hourglasses. The Sea Shrine was a building at the bottom of the ocean that resembled to a large indoor greenhouse.

"Hey! How about this one here?" Steven asked.

"What one?" Pearl asked as she walked over.

"This little one..." Steven replied as he looked at the smallest hourglass with starry eyes. "It's adorbable."

"Steven, the legendary glass of time won't be nearly so small and insignificant. It'll be beautiful and grand." Pearl explained before she looked at an big hourglass with an elegant design in excitement. "Like this one!"

"I think it's this one." Garnet said.

"It's quite big." Ezra commented.

"Whoa!" Steven said as he looked up.

"You mean the biggest one?" Pearl asked as she, Garnet, Steven and Ezra looked up at the giant hourglass. "How are we even supposed to get that back to the Warp Pad?"

"I can carry it." Garnet suggested as she cracked her knuckles.

"Wait!" Pearl warned. "We need to be careful which one we touch, you remember what happened last time we were here."

"What happened?" Steven asked.

"Hey, guys. I'm making the call." Amethyst called out as she picked up an oddly-shaped hourglass. "And it's this janky one here!"

"Amethyst!" Pearl shouted.

The Sea Shrine began to rumble.

"Ugggh... nope, it wasn't." Amethyst said.

The ceiling of the shrine disappeared and water began to rush in, flooding the place.

"Oh, this is bad." Ezra said.

"Look out!" Garnet said as she grabbed Steven and Ezra before she dodged the water alongside with Pearl. "We don't have much time."

"Amethyst, come on!" Pearl called out.

Steven ran away from Garnet and Pearl as he went back towards the hourglasses.

"Steven!" Ezra exclaimed.

"Steven?" Garnet repeated.

"W-Where do you think you're going?!" Pearl asked.

"Amethyst gets to keep hers!" Steven complained.

"Darn tootin'!" Amethyst said as she walked past while carrying her chosen hourglass.

"I'm gonna get the one I picked out." Steven said.

"Steven!" Garnet and Pearl cried out.

Steven went to the tiny hourglass and picked it up.

"My name's Steven. You're gonna live with me!" Steven said before he put it in his pocket.

"Steven, come on!" Pearl called out.

"Warp Pad, Imma comin'! Imma comin'!" Steven said as he ran toward the Warp Pad.

More water gushed into the shrine, that formed a huge wave behind Steven. Pearl started to panic and Garnet quickly stretched her arm forward.

"Hang on!" Garnet said as she grabbed Steven and pulled him in.

"Hurry up! Hurry up! Hurry up!" Amethyst said.

"Gotcha!" Garnet said as she brought Steven back to the warp pad.

"Well done Garnet!" Pearl said.

"Uh, guys?" Ezra gulped. "Now would be a good time to get out of here!"
