Julian's POV:

A whole week has gone by, and I've been noticing Sophie's mannerisms and the way she's been interacting with me. But the thing that's bugging me a bit is that the signals are so confusing, and I can't tell what they mean.

Does she have feelings for me?

It's not even safe to assume anything, because that might lead to me doing or saying something to her that might not be right.

I just don't know what the hell I'm supposed to do.

Sophie's POV: The next day

The day goes by well as I casually sort out the laundry and enjoy Television's "Carried Away" which plays out of the Bluetooth speaker in Julian's bedroom. I dump all the clothes from the basket onto the couch and start to put his clothes back in the basket.

After sorting, I head towards his bedroom along with the basket. The door is ajar, but just as I'm about to open it fully, I stop to notice Julian.

Julian freshly out of the shower.

Nothing but a towel wrapped around his lower body.

I look at his back; my lips part open slightly in sheer awe as I exhale a deep breath and I feel my face getting warm.

He pulls out a pair of briefs from one of the racks in his closet, along with his outfit for the day, and sets them all on the bed.

My eyes widen a little as I'm now able to see the front of his body.

Woah...

He looks built.

That is one sexy body.

My breathing starts to get uneven as I continue to peek through the tiny gap and observe him. However, he suddenly turns his head towards the door.

I gasp, trying to turn away before he can catch me, but it's too late.

"Sophie?" he calls out.

I set the laundry basket down, keeping my back slightly against the bedroom door. I can hear his footsteps approaching me. In slight fear, I try to move to the couch, but he catches a hold of my wrist through the gap, making me stop.

I sigh in defeat before slowly turning towards him.

Those eyes...

Those beautiful brown eyes, that appear to look almost innocent as he returns a devilish smirk to me.

He pulls the door open before slowly pulling me into the bedroom, making me slightly gasp in surprise. A soft exhale leaves me as we are eye to eye with one another, so close to each other that the heat from his body quickly transfers to mine.

His face is just so perfect. The sunlight that streams through the bedroom window takes those enchanting eyes of his and makes them shine a beautiful, iridescent hazel and gold. His jawline is strong, yet his lips appear very soft, like the petals of a fresh rose. I notice the different layers of his dark hair; his forehead is adorned with short, fringe-like locks, slightly damp from the shower water. My fingers go over to those small bits of hair at the top and brush it to the side, receiving a chuckle from him.

He turns the two of us around and gently pushes me up against the wall. I gulp a small amount of saliva down my throat in slight nervousness.

"Jules... what is this? What are we doing?"

"I have no idea," he whispers as his fingers start to trace along my arms. I close my eyes as I enjoy the gentle touch of him against me. He soon places both of my arms on his shoulders, and his hands snake around my waist.
