Audrey woke up next morning with her alarm ringing loudly. The girl sat upright, her hair all over the place and her eyes still sleepy.

After a few seconds of coming into her sense, Audrey's eyes widened. Was it a dream or did Audrey kiss Percy last night? Her heartbeat quickened, her mind rushed. Was this good or bad? What was she going to do?

Percy woke up much earlier than Audrey had. He paced around the house thinking about what he was going to say to his parents, to his siblings. He wasn't sure how to approach them.

There was a sudden ringing from Audrey's room, an alarm clock. Percy remembered last night all too well. Nothing much had happened, other than the fact that they had just kissed. Where did they stand? Should he ask her out on a date? Was he thinking too ahead?

Instead of going out to get herself some tea, Audrey hopped into the shower instead. Maybe if she took too long, Percy would leave for work without her.

Percy looked stared at her door, walking up to it and then walking back into the living room. Maybe she'll approach him.

It  didn't take long for Audrey to get ready for work, but she didn't want to face him. She also didn't want to be rude and just leave. Before she could grab her things to go out, there was a knock on her door. Audrey paused in her steps.

Percy wasn't sure why he knocked but it was too late now, "Um-Audrey"

Audrey made an uneasy expression, "I just got a letter and Iris hurt herself, I'm going to go see her so why don't you go on without me?" she blurted.

"Oh-Do you want me to come with you?"

"No!" she said much quicker than she should have, "she'll be fine."

Iris sat in front of her friend as she told her the events of last night.
"I knew it!" She exclaimed.

Audrey huffed, "Not the point here! I think I made a mistake! We were fine as friends and now it's just going to be awkward!" She told her.

"That boy is head over heels for you! You are the same for him! Go and ask him out!" Iris scolded, "what's there to be confused about!?"

"But- I don't know I don't want it to ruin our friendship"

"That friendship was ruined when he kissed you!" Iris told her. "Go ask him out! Make a move"

Audrey tried her best to avoid Percy most of the day, but they always had lunch together. There was no avoiding him then.

It was tense between them, both of them could feel it but none of them addressed it.
"Hey.." Percy awkwardly sat down in front of Audrey. "How is Iris?" He asked.

"She's just fine! this happens a lot" Audrey rolled her eyes. "She just needed my help to heal her"

"Isn't she a healer herself?" Percy asked.

Audrey mentally face palmed, "well..." She had nothing to say so she changed the subject, "we can go on about her another time, have you thought about what you're going to say to your family?"

Percy tapped his foot anxiously on the floor, "Probably apologize" he said, "and work things out"

Audrey could see how nervous he was, "they're your family, they will always understand" she told him, "they care for you"
