Childe and Scaramouche pt.2

You sighed out silently after the unexpected happened. He brought you up to an unknown cliff just to listen to an answer from a confession you never heard ever since you came here. You glanced over at Childe and he seemed fine, even humming some tune.

"Childe. I-" you were about to kindly reject the confession, but he quickly cut you.

"Hey, I can give you all the time you need." He walked closer to you and leaned in, his face were right in front of you. It was so close, that you face immediately turned red. This kind of things had never happened to you. It was like you were living a dream of a perfect girl that you wanted to be.

"However, I don't accept 'no' as an answer."

That was what happened and he looked like as if you had said yes to his confession.

You were entering Liyue Harbor fron the bridge when you felt yourself cooler from any heat of the sun. You looked at Childe who just used your umbrella to cover you from the beaming sun like a guard would do for an idol, or a royal guard to his Queen.

You just looked away, trying your best to not show your dusty pink cheekbones to him so he won't know that his little action did affect you a little bit.

"We reached the restaurant. Let's go, everyone must have waited inside." You looked at him with a little confused look at his words. Everyone ? Who were you going to have lunch with aside from your father ?

"We're here !" You almost lost your breath when you entered into such scary atmosphere. It was the same view of evey other customer that sat down and have their lunch, but for this particular room, the air seemed suffocating.

Scaramouche was here as well, fhe 6th of the Harbinger, and Childe, the 11th of the Harbinger was here as well as he took a seat in front of Scaramouche. Next to the purpled haired male was La Signora, the 8th of the Harbinger and an unknown man sitting at the end of the table, looking straight at you.

Your eyes fell on Scaramouche, and he looked at you as if he was going to kill you. Your stomach started to churn.

This is a dream, right ? This should be a dream, it has to be !

"(Y/n), come sit here." The man called your name, and you eyed him. You saw how he raised his brows and ushered the seat next to him, telling you that it was your seat. You sucked in a breath and slowly went to sit there, feeling the pair of blue eyes following you with a smile.

"Princess, I ordered your favorite." Your eyes widened at the name he called you, but everybody else seemed fine with it. You cringed so bad that you forgot to smile properly. You could hear Childe chukled silently upon watching your look.

You looked at the table to see your favorite food, (f/food). Your eyes widened and turned to look at the man, your father, again.

What kind of craziness is this ? How come this girl have the same food as you do ?

"I have a meeting with them later, but I miss my princess so much, so we have to have lunch together." The father said with a smile, looking at you so lovingly that you felt so bad. You smiled at him and nodded.
