As a bartender and also a person vow to protect the city of freedom, Diluc had a little to no rest. The enemy of Mondstadt give him no time to stay still and have a peace of mind.

The tavern had just closed, and he just stood behind the bar while cleaning the glasses, wiping it with a clean, white cloth.

The Abyss made an appearance again and he was, once again, being taken his time to rest and exterminate them on the spot. His body was aching but he did not feel like sleeping either. Therefore, he decided to bartend for tonight to keep his mind off from the stern body.

Although, another reason being something else as well.

"Meow."

He finally heard the familiar meow coming from on top of the stairs. He casted his eyes on the white furry, making it way down the stairs, the soft sound from the bell heard as her tail wagging.

He smiled.

"You came through the roof again ?" he said as the cat climbed onto the stool and to the bar, meowing at his words and proceed to sit while facing his way, it tail with bell at the end wrapped around its legs. The strap with the color of pink enough telling Diluc that it was a female.

The cat purred when he pat her head.

"Weird, your owner put the strap on your tail instead." he said, and she wagged her tails while already laying on top of her legs with eyes closed. He went the bar and took a seat on one of the stool, continued to rub her back who peacefully resting in front of him.

"Whenever you are here, I always felt like my fatigue lifted." he spoke as if she could understand and listen, while she was just sleeping like any other cat would.

"Won't your master come and find you now you're gone in the middle of the night ?" he asked, and he received a meow from the white-haired cat.

"You looked like you're well taken care of, and you have a bell as well." He used his finger to gently caress it face, and her eyes opened, showing him a beautiful pair of golden eyes.

"But I really want to take you back to the Dawn Winery.." he used his thumb to rub in between it eyes and she meowed, biting onto the thumb afterwards.

He kept eyeing the beautiful cat. it fur was soft and gentle and it looked ery elegant, fitting to a noble like him.

He continued to watch her through the night.

"Is this your cat ?"

The old lady that was just taking in fresh air outside of her home was being stopped by and asked the question from Diluc. She knew him as the son of Crepus and well known of his seriousness in doing his job. Seeing him with a white-haired cat in hand was a cute sight.
