It was a small party planned by Paimon and Aether to celebrate his birthday secretly with other Adepti. He did not mention it while inviting him,but it was weird when Xiao accepted the invitation when he did not like being around others that much, and he looked troubled as well, as if someone forced him to.

Most of them were shocked when Xiao brought you, a girl that sells antique items at the border of Jueyun Karst, to the party. The only one that not surprised by your presence was Moon Carver.

However, Xiao looked unusually relaxed. He did not look like he wanted to rush anywhere and not wasting anymore time with you. Instead, that was the most time he saw Xiao talked. Aether knew it was not a serious matter as you were smiling most of the time.

He examined your look. You had a youthful look and looking quite outgoing, contradict to a dark vibe given out by Xiao. You were leaning yourself to the wall, your leg was rested on it as well while your hands were at your back.

You looked like someome Xiao could not tolerate, but he seemed fine.
