The war finally broke out.

That was what Queen Tsaritsa had always wanted.

"Huff, huff.."

Childe stopped to take a breather, the surrounding declining of oxygen as fire continued to eat the tower. He used his cloth to block from the smoke to enter his airway.

"(Y/n).. (Y/n).." He said your name in urgency, eyes looking everywhere for the sight of your (h/c) hair that would be dancing in the battlefield.

He started to run again, eyes began to show desperation. He could not find you anywhere, and his heart palpilating.

He had to find you.

He shut his eyes as he clenched his teeth.

"What is your name ?" Childe asked you who kept looking down in a worn, tattered cloth. Your hair were in a mess and you had not uttered any words since the first time he picked you up.

You looked up at his voice, eyes were bright in color of (e/c), innocently looked at his way. He frowned went deeper as he remembered Tsaritsa words, looking at your youthful look.

"She's not a person. She's a weapon, a trump card we have to win against the upcoming war."

He clicked his tongue, not believing how dry that heart of the Ice Queen.

Looking your way, it reminds him a lot of his oldest younger sibling, Tonia.

"You don't have a name ?" He asked again, and you kept staring at him without giving any answer. He scratched the back of his head, moving closer to you.

"Your name will be..." He thought of something, something that would remind him of you. A name that only suitable for you, only you would come in mind if he heard that name.

"(Y/n).. isn't it beautiful ?" He crouched down to your level with a smile, treating you the same as his younger sibling.

"(Y-Y/n) ?" You said, seemingly struggling. He laughed.

"You'll learn to speak your own name fluently later." He grinned.

That was the first time you saw something or someone shining so brightly.

From afar, he heard battle cries and clashing of blades, and magic wielder. He went towards that direction, and his eyes widened seeing a presence of (h/c) hair in the hallway.
