On the way over to school, Marinette practised how to confess her feelings for Adrien.
"Hi, I think of you every night and day..." Marinette said inside of her head.
"No, that sounds too weird. What about this: Adrien, you're so wonderful, smart, amazing, beautiful, kind." The list could go on forever.
Marinette looked around the street and carefully opened her purse.
"Tikki, I'm doomed. How can I tell Adrien my true feelings without it sounding like I'm obsessed with him?! Because I'm not!"
Tikki looked up at her with her big and comforting eyes.
"Marinette, don't think about too much. Speak from the bottom of your heart."
Marinette took a deep breath and tried to focus on what her heart would say.
"Adrien the first day I met you, I knew that you would be very special to me. I have been keeping it a secret for a long time, but I'm finally ready to express my true feelings. For me, you have always been more than a good friend. You mean the world to me Adrien Agreste, and I will do anything for you. I hope that you may feel the same towards me, but if I not then I'm still glad that you now know how important you are."
Marinette looked down at Tikki and saw her wipe a little tear of her small check.
"Awh Marinette. It's beautiful, I'm sure that he will love it." Said Tikki.
Marinette looked up again and said, "I just hope that he will love me..."
Marinette arrived at school in just a few minutes. She tried walking as normal as possible so nobody would notice how nervous she actually was. Alya and Nino were walking hand in hand through the big school gate, Chloé was yelling at Sabrina about something that didn't worry Marinette, and Adrien was standing at the end of the stairs with Kagami.
Marinette thought to herself: What is she doing here?!
"She doesn't even go to our school." Whispered Marinette to Tikki, but it was too dangerous for her to respond with such a big crowd of people surrounding them.
Marinette stepped a little closer to them for a better look, but she didn't know that this action would change everything in the nearest future...
