Chapter 7

"Don't you get it? I am..." But she couldn't finish because Adrien cut her off.

"No! I don't want to hear what you have to say about her"  Yelled Adrien.

"Ladybug WILL come and then everything will go back to normal"

An insidious smile appeared on Lady Heartbroken's face.

"So you only have faith in Ladybug since Chat Noir isn't mentioned in your little praise speech."

Adrien looked nervously down at his hands and was afraid that he may have given up his cover.

"Well, Chat Noir will come as well... He's always helping Ladybug."

Lady Heartbroken got down to earth and gently stroke Adrien's cheek.

"I am not afraid of Ladybug nor Chat Noir. They are under my control now. They will do whatever I say." Said she tenderly.

A voice then appeared inside Lady Hearbrokens head.

"Make Ladybug and Chat Noir hand over their Miraculous."

Lady Heartbroken smiled a dirty smile.

" I don't think so, Hawk moth." Said she." I do not have time for these childish games."

Hawk Moth responded angrily, "I can take away your power at any moment if you disobey me!"

But Lady Heartbroken was not afraid. 

"You have forgotten that may have powers even stronger than yours!" Said she while laughing.

She rose to the air and again elegantly spread her arms. 

"Hawk Moth I now demand that you leave me to my job and don't distract me anymore!"

Hawk Moth accepted the order without any fuss and was now under her command as well.

Adrien saw how powerful Lady Heartbroken was and she was right about everything. Ladybug definitely lived in the city and that meant she was already under Lady Heartbroken's influence. 

"We will now find Kagami and I will make sure that will be the last time you will ever see her." Said Lady Heartbroken after just turning Hawk Moth into her personal slave. 

Adrien knew that he ought to be careful with his words or else she would possess him like with everybody else. He was the last hope for saving Paris, but he could only transform if he was left alone. 

"Lady Heartbroken, will you please take me home? I'm feeling so tired. You can go and do your work while I rest in my room."

But Lady Heartbroken couldn't be fooled that easily.

"Are you trying to escape, my Adrien?" She asked.

"No, of course not. How could I even escape if you control all the people around me? If it gives you any help we could lock the door?" 

Lady Heartbroken thought to herself, "He's right. He cannot escape from me anymore. I will be quick with Kagami and then we will live together always forever."

"Okay, grab my hand I will take you home." She said.

Adrien looked at that little and fragile hand and he couldn't imagine how she could carry him with that, but he grabbed it anyway. 

She flew up onto the air like she was carrying nothing. 

Adrien must admit that flying over the city was an unforgettable experience, but he could not get his my off his secret plan. He simply could not fail or else he would spend the rest of his life in pain.  

They arrived at the Agreste Family Manor just a couple of minutes later.

Lady Heartbroken looked around and she could not believe that she was at Adrien's home. it felt like a dream come true. 

"I will just go up to my room." Said Adrien while pointing at the staircase. 

Lady Heartbroken was very curious and followed him up. 

They entered his room and a warm smile appeared on Lady Heartbroken's face. 

"Your room looks very nice." Said she. 

Adrien didn't know how to respond to that comment in a situation like this. 

"Thanks..." Said he without sounding too nervous.

"You stay here and while I take care of the problem." 

She stepped right in front of him and gave him a bitter kiss on his left cheek.

She then closed the door to his room and locked it.

"I will be keeping the key" Yelled she from the other side of the door.

"Can't wait to see you again," Adrien said trying to convince her that he would stay there.

Lady Heartbroken blushed over his remark while leaving the house.

He waited for a few minutes to be a hundred per cent sure that she was gone.

"Plagg..." Said he while lifting his shirt.

Plagg immediate flew out and looked very concerned.

"What are we going to do?!" Asked Plagg worriedly.

"I don't really know, but what I do know is that we need to save Paris and her..."

"Plagg claws out!"
