Chapter 15 ~ Keefe

Foster had just transmitted to him and told him what happened. Keefe was so glad she was alive! His hopes were back, he could save her from his mom and the Neverseen. Ruy, a person he thought was a loyal supporter to the Neverseen, was Foster's brother. Foster had a brother now, a brother who would help her and protect her from even the Neverseen. Keefe was very glad that Ruy was there to protect Foster. When he was in the Neverseen Ruy was the only person who was somewhat nice to him. Keefe smiled.

"I get that you're happy, but can you just tell us what she said?" Fitz snapped at him.

Wait, did Fitz read his mind?

"What?" Grady, Edaline, Squall and Mr. Forkle asked at the same time.

"Nothing! Fitx, did you read my mind?" Keefe asked, suspiciously.

"Why would I want to read your mind?" Fitz replied, angrily. "Sophie, she probably talked to him. That's the only reason he would smile," Fitz told everyone else, glaring at him.

"Miss. Foster talked to you?" Mr. Forkle asked.

He nodded, slowly.

Fitz sighed.

"I always knew you two had a special bond," Mr. Forkle said.

Fitz grumbled something that Keefe couldn't hear, "Can you just tell us what she said, already?"

"Fitz, calm down!" Biana told her brother, slapping his hand hard.

"Jeez, Biana!" Fitz snapped, rubbing his arm as he walked off.

"Teenagers," Mr. Forkle mumbled.

"What?" Linh asked.

Mr. Forkle sighed, "Nothing!"

"Forget about my brother, what did Sophie tell you?" Biana asked him.

"What did my daughter tell you?" Grady asked, repeating the question.

"She told me that she was in a Neverseen prison and she has no idea of how to escape," Keefe told them.

"That's it?" Blur asked, definitely not believing it.

Keefe nodded.

"Knowing you both, she probably said much more," Mr. Forkle said.

"Nope, that's all she said," Keefe told Mr. Forkle.

His friends for sure did not believe him, but they didn't say anything.

Mr. Sencen, I can tell you're hiding something. Whatever it is, you are going to tell me after everyone leaves.

"No matter what my daughter said, we are finding her and bringing her back," Grady told the collective.

"Yes, we will be making a plan and then we will start the search for Miss. Foster right away," Mr. Forkle told Grady.

Grady nodded.

"Ok, then. All of you can go home and get ready for the search for Miss. Foster." Mr. Forkle said as the members of the collective slowly started leaping away.

Dex, Biana, Linh, Tam and Fitz went back inside with Grady and Edaline to pack up their stuff from the sleepover and leave so that they could get ready for the search. However Mr. Forkle stayed.

"So, what did you want to tell me Mr, Sencen?" Mr. Forkle asked.

"Foster told me that she was captured by the Neverseen and now she is in a prison," Keefe said.

"Well, there is definitely more to the story then you are saying," Mr. Forkle commented.

Keefe sighed.

"Fine. I won't pressure you today, but we will need to know the information you are hiding soon."

Keefe nodded.

"We need to know soon, be sure to tell us whatever it is," Mr. Forkle told him as he left away like the others.

He sat down on the bright green grass. Thinking and thinking about things that he thought he would never ever think about.
