Chen Jiaxin's POV

Today is another busy day for me and my master Zhongshan Long.

I knew he invited plenty of people for the opening of the studio but I wasn't expecting that it could be that plenty, I guess the right term to describe it is massive.

I had never expected that my master had a lot of colleagues and friends here in China since he mostly lived his entire life overseas.

The opening went smoothly beginning from the ribbon cutting, then a little greetings from unknown people and more of congratulatory remarks from the guests to us.

It was tiring but very fulfilling.

It felt like accomplishing something very big and everyone around you are celebrating because of this achievement.

But what really made me happy today is that my whole family were able to witness such happy event in my life and it was more than the feeling of fulfillment.

The place became a little quiet after the food was served by lunch time. It was arranged by a catering services owned by one of master's old friend.

I was seated between Xiyi and my mom and was busy munching my food, when all of a sudden my master whom was seated in another table with Grandma and some of their friends, walked towards our table with two unfamiliar individuals.

I remembered seeing the two of them earlier before the start of the event but was unable to talk to them in person since the place became crowded in no time.

"Jiaxin, sorry to disturb you with your food, but I'd like you to meet this two wonderful people next to me. They are Rosy and Ian," my master spoke as he prompt those two persons to come closely.

I reached for their hands instinctively and we both exchanged smiles to each others.

"They are my new recruits as professional potters and they'll be working with us once the workshops begin."

"Hello, Ms. Jiaxin. I'm Rosy," she said then flashed a smile at me again. "I just came back recently from England, I heard that the famous Master Zhongshan Long is looking for people to work for him so I didn't even hesitate and applied for the position immediately."

She was both tall and beautiful. Her complexion was so white that I almost doubted if she was really an actress or some kind of model instead of a potter.

"It's nice to meet you, Rosy."

"And Jiaxin, this is Ian, he was once a student of my friend here in Shanghai in middle school and just like Rosy, he went to England to pursue pottery. But he came back to China almost a year ago unlike Rosy," my master said.

"Nice to meet you, Ms. Jiaxin. I'm really looking forward working with you."

I think he's a little older than Rosy. As I look closely at him, I noticed that his face is somewhat a little familiar. However, I have never knew someone from England so it's impossible that I have seen him before.

"Nice to meet you too. I hope we can work well all together when the workshops begin."

After that short introduction, they all went back to their seats to continue eating.

"I'm glad to know that you'll now getting a lot of colleagues in the studio. Atleast now, you won't have to worn out yourself that much. Just ask them for help or better, let them do the hard work for you," Xiyi whispered.

"What are you talking about? I am not like that. Plus, you are better than me when it comes to working overtime."

He laughed.
