Special Chapter

Rosy's POV

It's been five minutes since I reached the third floor of this building but I am still standing in front of his unit, contemplating whether to see him or just return home.

I realized it's funny how I got down earlier from Mr. Yi's car quickly and motivated to reconcile with him.

But now all of this motivation were seemed to vanished as well in a flash.

Am I forgiving him this fast? I thought to myself.

After all what happened Rosy? Really?

He would probably think you're that easy and cheap just like what his mother thinks of you.

I instantly felt bad as I thought of that.

I looked down at the floor and felt too discouraged to even ring the doorbell.

It would probably be easier to just go back and forget about being worried about him.

I was about to turn and leave when the door suddenly clicked open and made me stood still in my position.

Our eyes met for a moment.

Both looked surprised at the presence of one another.

"Rosy?" Yuki called my name in confusion. "I thought you already left with them?"

My eyes blink for a second before I had the voice to talk.

"I ----- I just wanted to check --------- if you need ------------- you might be needing something," I stammered as I think of what to answer him.

He looked at me still confused before realizing what he was supposed to do before opening his door and seeing me standing here.

I guessed he is about to go out by looking in his hand holding a white plastic bag loaded with trash.

The empty can of beers immediately caught my attention.

"Have you been drinking?" I asked.

He was silent for a second.

"Just a bit."

Then another moment of silence.

"Why don't you come in first?" He asked. "Wait for me inside, I'll just put this downstairs."

He looked at me waiting for an answer but never heard a reply. He probably saw the hesitation in my eyes.

"Get inside first. You'll get cold if you kept on standing here." He said, extending his uninjured hand to me.

Rosy, once you held this hand, he'll see this as a sign of hope. My inner self reprimanded me.

"I won't do anything. If you're worried that I would do something, I promise, I won't." He said and looked at me sincerely.

I moved my feet and step inside his place. I removed my shoes and placed it beside his and scanned the floor to look for some inner slippers however only saw one pair.

"You can wear mine. I only have one pair of inner slippers, I'm sorry." He said as he bend down and reach for it and put it in front of me. "I just moved here few weeks ago so I wasn't able to buy anything besides my own necessities."

"It doesn't matter. You probably won't stay here that long so you won't be needing those much stuffs." I said. "I'll just make you something to eat and will leave immediately. You won't be able to cook anything with your arm like that."

I put on his slippers and head towards the direction of his kitchen, not giving him any time to rebuke my words.

I heard the sound of the door closing as I leaned on his kitchen counter.
