Chapter 33

Hailey's POV:

I woke up to someone shaking my shoulders gently to wake up. As I opened my eyes it became clear who the person was.

Hayes.

I completely ignored him and took a look at my surroundings. We were in the middle of a forest with a cabin and a lake behind it.

"So how long are we going to stay here?" I said walking up to Nash.

"Just overnight." Nash said.

I walked into the cabin and looked around at all of the rooms. It was big for a cabin.

"Alright guys there are 8 of us and there are 4 rooms." Nash said.

"I call Nash!" Can said launching himself at Nash.

I laughed silently to myself as they walked into a bedroom.

"Me and Gilinsky will share." Jack said walking in a room.

"I'll share with Mahogany." Matt said dragging her to a room.

"Really Mahogany?" I called after her.

"Sorry!" She said as she was being dragged.

Which left me and Hayes. Alone.

"I guess that means we have to share a room." Hayes said scratching the back of his neck.

"No shit Sherlock." I said groaning and walking past him into the only empty bedroom.

I looked around the room. It was cozy. But the only problem was, was that it had one bed. Great.

I heard Hayes come in behind me and close the door behind him.

"What are you doing?" I said looking at him.

"Well if we are going to share a room then we might as well create some peace between us." He said.

If this was his way of trying to get back together with me then hell no.

"Go on." I said.

I don't know where I was going with this.

He walked closer to me and looked me in the eyes.

"Hailey, I can't stand you being mad at me anymore. I can't stand ignoring you. I'm really really sorry for what I did. I miss you. I'm not saying that we should get back together. I just want to be friends again. I really miss you." He said.

"Hayes I just don't know." I said putting my head in my hands.

Hayes stood there looking at the floor.

"After all you put me through Hayes I just don't know." I said.

Hayes looked like his head was about to explode.

"Ahhhh fuck it! I can't take it!" Hayes said.

"Excuse me?" I said taken back.

"Damn it Hailey! I miss you! I miss you so god damn much." He said sighing and running his hands through his hair.

"Hayes....-" I started, but I was cut off.

"I just want to be friends! Please." Hayes whined.

I thought about it for a minute. If I was going to survive this long trip I was going to at least have to try.

"Alright." I said sighing.

Fuck yes." Hayes said and pulled me into a hug. I wrapped my arms around his neck.

Man I missed his hugs.

Fuck Hailey stop!

He smells good like he always did.

I mentally slapped myself in the face.

"Hey guys we are going to the lake and go fishing. Your welcome to join us. I'm afraid to open the door because I don't what I will see." Cam said knocking on the door.

"CAM!" I said my face flushing.

"I'm just saying. I don't want any nieces and nephews soon."  He said and chuckled.

I turned around so Hayes couldn't see. I get embarrassed way to easily.

"We will be out in a second Cam." Hayes said.

I turned back around so I was facing Hayes.

"Friends?" Hayes said holding out his pinkie.

"Always." I smiled and locked my pinkie with his.
