Stuck In Between [hayes grier]

Chapter 25

Hailey's POV:

Aaron's grip tightened around my waist when he saw it was Hayes.

"Who the fuck let you in here?" Nick said to Hayes.

" I let myself in." He said smirking and walking towards me.

"Don't fucking touch her." Aaron said getting up from couch and walking over to Hayes.

"Woah buddy! Nobody invited you here." Hayes said pushing Aaron back onto the floor.

I got up from the couch and stepped in the middle of them before they started to fight or something worse.

"Actually Hayes you've got it all wrong. No nobody invited you here!" I said pushing him back up the stairs.

" I still love you Hailey!" Hayes said trying to fight back as I kept pushing up the stairs

"No Hayes you don't love me. If you loved me you wouldn't have cheated on me so many times. Maybe we weren't meant to be. Maybe we are better off not even being friends. I don't want to see your face again Hayes. Never come back." I said closing the front door on his face.

Luckily all the parents went out for dinner so they didn't see any of that. But in the other hand somebody did see that all happen. Aaron. I turned around to face him. I could tell by the look on face he was concerned about what just happened.

"Are you okay?" He asked trying to get me to look him in the eye but I just kept looking at the ground.

To be honest I was surprised I wasn't crying. I didn't even feel anything towards Hayes which really surprised me.

"Are you okay?" Aaron asked gently grabbing my chin so I would look at him.

"Yeah I think I am." I said looking at him truthfully.

"Okay. Why don't we go back downstairs to everybody else?" He said.

We walked down the stairs and reclaimed our spots back on the couch.

Jake wanted to watch Annabelle so we did. I sat on the couch and put my legs across Nicks lap. Nick started to play with my toes and it really tickled.

To be honest I wasn't really scared but everybody else was and it was really funny watching them freak out. Mikayla jumped onto Jake and buried her face in his chest. Samantha got so scared she ran and hid in the bathroom. Natasha covered herself with a blanket. Aaron buried his face in his knees. Nick covered his face with his hands and started screaming like a baby. Me and Jake were basically the only ones that were watching the movie.

Nick couldn't take it anymore so he got up and turned the TV off.

"That is enough of that movie!" Nick said.

"Yeah." Natasha said still hiding under the blanket.

" What you can't take the scariness? Is Nick a baby?" I said.

"No I just want to do something more fun than this." He said.

"Oh really? What could be more fun than watching all of you act like scaredy cats?" I said.

"Spin the bottle." Nick said with smirk.
