"I know a sad soul when I see one! What has been of utmost disrespect to you, unfortunate one? What can I, Prinzessin der Verurteilung, Fischl, do to help raise your spirits to where the stars may help you on your way again?" She asked. Bennett was a little overwhelmed for a second. There was, for one, a lot of words. Two, he had no clue who this girl was, but he was kinda excited to meet them. He then noticed one thing.

"Were... you crying?" He asked.

"Hm!?" Fischl huffed. She wasn't expecting a response like that.

"Neigh, as I, the Prinzessin, cannot be wavered by such emotion, as I've been blackened by a void darker than the night sky. Tell me, what has also brought this black void into your heart?" She asked. She nailed it.

"Uh... you must know who I am, right?" Bennett asked. Fischl tilted her head to show that she was confused. Bennett sighed.

"I'm Bennett, the unluckiest person here in Mondstadt, but probably in all of Teyvat." He stood up and rubbed the left over tears from his eyes.

"I see, as a proper introduction, once again, I am Fischl, the Prinzessin der Verurteilung. I've been reborn from another world to bring down a justifying bolt of lightning to all! Hello, Bennett!" She greeted, sticking out her hand for a hand shake. Bennett took it and shook it.

"So cool!" He thought. After, Fischl seemed to remember something. She stuck out her arm. From it, lighting stuck down and Oz appeared on it. He bowed.

"Cool! A bird!" Bennett said, happy to see a bird like that.

"Ozvaldo von Hrafnavines, or you can just simply call me, Oz." He said.

"And it talks!?" Bennett asked, even more intrigued. Fischl smiled. This was one of the first people to acknowledge this part about her.

"Yes! Oz is my greatest companion, as he helps me with investigations and he is by my side at all times!" She said. She cleared her throat.

"Anyway, explain yourself! What darkness has consumed you and pushed you into melancholy?" Fischl asked. Bennett thought for a moment then sighed. He turned and looked at the sun setting behind him. It reflected its light to the sky, transforming it into an orange tint with a blend of blue. Bennett sat down.

"I... I'm just unfortunate I guess. Bad timing... or... maybe it didn't matter the timing." He said. Fischl tried to imagine what it was like. She didn't have enough information to help support him. She wanted to, as he was actually interested in Fischl's aesthetic.

"Hm... I doubt whatever it was was your doing. What exactly happened?" She asked.

"Someone's father died." He said. Fischl was quite shocked. She didn't expect it to be so extreme. Even if it was, she cleared her throat.

"How old was this father?" She asked. If anything, she has to convince him that it wasn't him.

"He was really old. Dying age." He said.

"Well I don't see any problems." Fischl said.

"What? I got him killed by just being there. That's always how it is. If you're near me while it's raining, you'll be struck by lightning. We're adventuring? The treasure will somehow always get away from us. Why? Because I'm there." Bennett said slouching down. Fischl walked over beside him.

"That's improbable. Even if you are most unfortunate, you're never the cause of someone's spirit to drift away from their mortal body. There is no proof that you, Bennett, have caused a great darkness to befall on that father." She said.

"It doesn't matter. Everything else too. If I wasn't there, people would just do a lot better. Besides, there's no proof that I didn't cause that." Bennett said. Fischl turned to him and kept down.
