"Mein Fräulein?" Oz asked. Fischl held the power tightly.
"Fischl, please don't stay out late today. We want you home by 8 at the latest. You'll be grounded if you don't. We need to talk." It said. It was from her parents.
"I— I don't..." Fischl was saying. Oz didn't say a word. The atmosphere was dark, even if it was a sunny day. Oz obtained the courage to speak.
"Let's get going. It's not as early as most other days. Bennett's probably looking for us." Oz said. Fischl nodded. She got ready for the day. Placed her eyepatch on, did her hair, and walked out the door. She decided to change her mood for the better.
"I wonder what will happen today!" She said with enthusiasm as she and Oz arrived at Mondstadt. That enthusiasm felt forced. Bennett wasn't around yet. Perhaps he was doing something. Fischl went to Kathryne.
"Task Server—" Fischl was saying before she was cut off.
"Kathryne. My name is Kathryne." Kathryne replied. Fischl looked at her for a second.
"T-Task Server, what commissions request my aid today?" She asked. Kathryne sighed.
"You'll never call me Kathryne. Whatever. Anyway, some people want Stormbearer Mountain checked for anything super dangerous like Ruin Guards or bigger creatures. Can you go and check?" She asked. Fischl laughed.
"Of course! I shall go and see what I can do!" She said. She quickly dashed off to Stormbearer mountains. She and Oz didn't say much. Not until they arrived.
"Hm... this place is large. Why does it need to be checked?" She asked herself.
"Who knows. At least you'll be rewarded." Oz replied. Fischl sighed in exhaustion about just thinking about how long this would take. She didn't want to do this of all the days she could have done it. Oz surveyed the area near her.
"Nothing but slimes and Hilichurls. Next." She said. They proceed through a few areas before seeing an Anemo Hypostasis.
"Uh oh, that's dangerous." Fischl said. She ran over to it. It was in some arena made for it.
"Let's just prevent people from going near." She said. She placed a bunch of poles and wrapped a large, red wire around all of them.
"Nobody should cross this area unless they have the means to fight this. Alright, let's go." She said. They surveyed the rest of Stormbearer mountains. It took them their entire morning up until one o'clock. She had seven hours before a meeting with her parents.
"Great. I've lost the time of today it seems. What a shame." Fischl said.
"Truly." Oz replied. They quickly went and reported back to Kathryne.
"Good to see you're doing fine. Sorry for the big task." She said.
"Neigh! It was nothing for me! Time is nothing but a concept!" Fischl replied. As she said that, she rushed Kathryne to give her her reward and ran off as fast as possible to find Bennett.
"And you said time is nothing but a concept." Kathryne sighed to herself. Some time passed, and Fischl still couldn't find Bennett.
"Hmm... it seems he has found something to take part in for this time of day." She said.
"You're probably right. I assume he's either taking care of his dads or is out with Razor." Oz said. Fischl's stomach growled.
"Hmph! My need for sustained has seemed to increase! Looks I need to fulfill it. Oz, what would you like to eat?" She asked.
"The usual, Mein Fräulein." Oz replied. As he answered, rain seemed to pick up. They quickly got under the covers of umbrellas set up by Sara at Good Hunter.
