A few more days pass as Fischl and Bennett nervously slept in the same room. More days of getting flustered and getting red. Oz was a little annoyed to deal with this, but in the end, he enjoyed it. Soon enough, the traveling merchant left, leaving the room for Fischl. Fischl's stuff was taken to the building with the help of someone new...
"Hello! Is Fischl here?" An armored maid asked at Bennett's front door. Bennett was sorta confused.
"Y-Yeah. Come on in." Bennett said. She walked into the cramped room.
"Huh? Someone seeks me? What is needed, young one? Wisdom? Power?" Fischl asked. The maid was a little confused.
"Well, you're moving, right? I am Noelle! I plan to become a Knight of Favonious, and I need training, so I thought that I'd help with this!" She said.
"O-Oh. W-Well if you want! That would be fine. You can take one of those boxes while me and Bennett take the other one." Fischl said, being just a little flustered from that unexpected gift of help. Noelle nodded.
"Right, let's get—" Bennett began before Noelle stacked the three boxes and picked them all up.
"W-Wait! We can help!" Oz said.
"No, it's fine! I must become a Knight, and I need training. Let's get going." Noelle replied. She didn't seem to struggle at all. They walked to the building, watching Noelle balance three boxes.
"Hm? Ah, Noelle, and you younglings! Let's get you settled, hm?" The old man asked. Noelle carried the boxes up some stairs to her room as well.
"N-Noelle! Seriously! L-Let is help!" Bennett said.
"No need! I can do this easily myself. I barely feel like I'm carrying anything at all." She said. They were astonished that a maid was that strong. Then again, she looked like a tank with that armor. They stopped at front of the door.
"That's that settled! I shall help you accompany yourself here as well!" She said. They opened the door to see that the room was still a mess.
"What!? The last person didn't even clean at all!" Oz shouted, obviously angry. They all sighed, thinking about the work they'd do. Except for Noelle. She went in and began cleaning. Dusting, she made the bed, fluffed the pillows, made sure everything was clean. Bennett and Fischl insisted that they help, but Noelle would just say—
"It's my duty to help you! Stand back and watch." She'd say. After some time, some time being exactly four minutes, she seemed done.
"T-That was fast! Are you sure you're already not a Knight?" Bennett asked, scratching the back of his head. Noelle became flustered and shook her head.
"I-I am not. When the exams come up, I'll be able to become a knight after enough practice. Helping people out can help me as well." She said. She carried the boxes in and everyone got to work placing things somewhere. Clothes went into the dresser, bathroom stuff in the bathroom, antiques all over the place, all that stuff. Eventually, they finished.
"Wow, Noelle, thanks for the help!" Bennett smiled. Noelle nodded.
"I should thank you for this learning opportunity! If you ever need help, just call for me!" She said. She waved to everyone as she left the building to help with another task.
"Huh. I feel that an hour of time was just condensed into ten minutes." Bennett said. Fischl nodded in agreement.
"Indeed, you are correct. Noelle... she shall become amazing once she enters that official position." She said. They sat around for a bit talking before actually getting ready for the day. Bennett went back to his house. Once he left, Fischl let out a sigh of disappointment. She would miss living with Bennett. Bennett felt the same way. They both felt more tired and empty now, like a source of euphoria and emotion just disappeared. It was a side effect of no longer living together. Fischl got ready for the day and headed for Kathryne.
