Looks Can Be Deceiving (Nymphadora Tonks x Reader)

Chapter Two: Black Lake

March,18,1989

     After Tonk's conversation with y/n, even though she didnt have any more calsses with her she followed her around. Carful not to be seen. after school was over Tonks followed y/n to the black lake. She sat close to the edge with a peacefull smile on her face.  Tonks watched as Two slythern girls came up over the hill.  Merula Snyde and Lisanne Froon. Tonks watched as the approched y/n. she looked unfased but scares at the same time, a look that only she could pull off. "Filthy little mud-blood." Lisanne said. Merula looked quite uncomfortable which was different from her typical demener.  "Stop Lisanne." Merula said, everyone was tooke surprised as this. "What ever Merula, hang out with you Filthy mud-blood friend." Lisanne said as she pushed y/n into the black lake. Y/n Popped out of the water with a gasp of breath, but before she could catch any more she was yanked back down. Merula looked from y/n to lisanne and then ran away. Y/n Popped back up. "HELP!" She screamed, Tonks could'nt get a good look at her face, but form the sound of it she was holding back tears. tonks dibated going after merula and Lisanne but insted ran to the black lake. withough taking off her robes she jummped into the water and started the look around. the water was cold and Mercky making it almost impossible to see. Tonks poped up to catch some breath and started to panic. there was no sign of y/n anywhere.

    Tonks swam down where she saw y/n being pulled by somthing, her face was still, however the most unplesnt part about it was the soft smile that was present on her face. Tonks grabbed y/n's hand and started to pull her to the surface. Tonks pulled her out of the water, her y/h/c hair soking wet and the smile still present on her face. Tonks started to do chest conprestions. Tonks started to worry as she took longer to wake. "Come On Y/n, Don't die." She whispered while giving the conpretions. "Please." She begged. just then y/n started to cough up water. she sat up and looked around with tears in her eyes. "you must be freezing, let's go." tonks said, lifting y/n off the ground and carrying her to the hospital wing not a care in the world that her herself was soaking wet and freezing.

    Madam Pomfrey was quick to help y/n as she was still coughing perfuasley. "Your soaking wet , miss Tonks what happed?" Pomfrey asked. "She was ralxing out side and a slyithern girl. Lisanne Froon I think, grabbed her and threw her in the water, shes lucky I was there." Tonks said. y/n was so in and out that she bearly heard anything Tonks or Madam Pomfrey had said, all she rememberd was a glimps of Tulips red hair and that was it.

March,19,1989

    As soon as Tonks woke she ran down to the hospital wing, still in her night robs, to see y/n who had to stay the night there. She got there right at Tulip was getting shood away by Madma Pomfrey. "She need's her sleep." Poppy said. "She needs her sister." Tulip said, Poppy gave Tulip a confuesd look. "Im not her actual sister, but im the closest thing she has to one." Tulip said, it was clear to Tonks that Tulip knew somthing she, nobody, knew about the popular Ravenclaw. "Hey poppy, mind if I grab a bandage and get on my way?" Tonks asked. Madma Pomfrey gave her a skeptical look, but nodded and opened the door. without a second though Tonks grabed Tulips hand and pulled her into the hospital wing. Madam Pomfrey Running after them. "Girl's!" poppy yelled, but soon gave up. "Just like them darn boys." She said a small smiled plated on her face before she turned to tend to another student. Tulip pulled back the curtains to reveal a still sleeping Y/n. "Is she unconscious or just sleeping?" Tulip asked. Tonks shrugged and Poppy turned around. "she's just sleeping, woke last night looking for you two." Poppy smiled. Tulips sat next to her and grabbed her hand while Tonks sat on the floor and waited for her to walk up.

    After about an hour of Tonks and Tulip keeping an Eye on y/n she woke up. "Y/N!" Tulip shouted. "T." y/n said quietly. "And Nymphadora." Y/n smiled. Tonks wanted to yell at her, tell her not to call her nymphadora, but she either didnt have the heart to or had to much of a heart for y/n that she didnt want to. Either way she let y/n get away with calling her Nymphadora.
