Chapter Three: My Bestfriend

March,19,1973

  Mrs and Mr y/l/n drove to their perfectly normal suburban home, white picket fence and all. their new daughter y/n sat in the back seat. Not a clue in the world what was happening. All she cared about was having Casper, her stuffed animal cat.

"She's not like most kids." Mrs y/l/n said to her husband. " what do you mean she seems perfectly normal." Her father laughed.

January,28,1977

A now four year old y/n ran around her room. Watching as a book started to float off her desk. She started laughing, thinking it was a joke, but what she didn't know was her mother was perched in her closet. Looking for anything out of the ordinary.

December,28,1983

"I Swear it was nothing!" Y/n screamed as her mother locked her in a closet. "I saw the magic you evil witch. You've killed your father and now your trying to kill me!" Her mother screamed back. "I swear I didn't, please mum it's my birthday." Y/n cried. "I'm not your mother, you aren't my daughter." Her mother said coldly. Y/n's tears where unstoppable at this point. She spent the rest of her eleventh birthday clawing at a closet door till her nails ripped off and her fingers where raw.

March,19,1989

   "Y/n, Are you alright?" Tulip asked. y/n looked from tonks to tulip and back to tonks before she smiled at the girl. "W-who pushed me in." Y/n Asked. "well, lisanne Froon actully pushed you in but merula sndye didnt help." Tonks said. "That makes alot to sense. and tonks since you saved me I do belive I can call you my friend now." Y/n smiled. "Well your my best frined so im better then you." Tonks laughed, making Tulip and y/n laugh.

April,1,1989

  
      "NYMPAHDORA!" Y/n yelled, chasing tonks down the hall. "WHAT?!" She yelled back, trying not to laughed at y/n. "STOP!" Y/n yelled after her Tonks stoped and turned around, comming face to face with a purple skinned y/n. "April Fools." Tonks said with a shy smile. "dose this comeout, I cant go to class like this." Y/n panicked. "Ya it dose, you just need a shower." Tonks smiled. y/n sighed at ran to her dorm to take a shower. "Fuck." tonks said and started to run after her. She ran into tulip at the ravenclaw portal hole and paniced. "I need in." She said. "Why." Tulip asked. "Imayormaynothaveturnedherconditinerblue." Tonks said in a jumble. Tulips eyes widedn. she opened the common room and Tonk ran in and up the stair. she quickly found her room and barged in. "Y/N STOP!" She yelled, out of breath form running. "TONKS." Y/n yelled. she walked out a few minute later, her skin back to its y/s/c colour, but her hair was blue and her conditiner in her hand. "care to explaim nymphadora?" She asked with a stern look. "Ok to be fare that was for tulip." tonks said putting her hands up in defense. "You better run, because as soon as i get dressed im going to have your head." Y/n said. tonks, being scared shitless, quickly turned and ran to the black lake.

   Y/n ran down to the black lake and pulled tonks behind a tree. "I can explain." Tonks smiled. "Please do." y/ n said, pinning tonks to the tree. "Come on its april fools." Tonks said. "Your right it is, so what better way to recreat the prank you pulled when we meet." Y/n smiled, grabbing her wand and freezing tonks in place. "Oh, and heres the dungbom,BestFriend." Y/n smirked and walked away. Tonk instantly started to panic, she really needs to learn the counter cures.

Y/n however was sitting far enough away to see her, but not get attacked by the stench. There where foot steps behind her and then someone took a seat next to her. "What you doing?" Tulip asked. "Watching Tonks Get dungbomed." Y/n smiled, laying her head on her palm. "Do you like her?" Tulip asked. "Well ya, she's nice and we both like pranks." Y/n smiled. "I mean, like would you date her?" Tulip asked, a smirk planted on her lips. Y/n blushed, but shook her head. "No, I couldn't. I'm baring to much of a problem for her." Y/n sighed, thinking back to her mother and how as soon as she got home she would be thrown in a closet. "Hey, don't think about her." Tulip said, placing a hand on her shoulder. "Can't help it, look at my fingers Tulip." Y/n said, holding up her hands, showing her her nail beds that didn't have any nails. "You know when I got these?" She felt tears in her eyes. "My Eleventh Birthday, Mum locked me in a closet. Thought I would kill her like I did my father." Y/n said. "Y-you didn't really kill your father, right?" Tulip asked. "Of course not, h-he had a heart attack when he walk in one day to put me to bed. Since I had shown signs of magic, mum thought it was dark and assumed I killed him."
Y/n said, letting a tear fall down her face. "Would you go let her out?" Y/n asked Tulip. Tulip nodded and stood up to let Tonks out of her frozen trap while y/n walked back to the castle, taking deep breaths and trying to stop her emotions.

She entered the castle and ignored the teachers and other students that where asking if she was ok, walking straight up to her room and locking herself in her dorm, taking deep breaths and trying to calm her breath before her other dorm mates arrived. Which would have worked, but Tonks and Tulip practically kicked down the door, breathing heave and worried looks frozen on there face. "D-Don't you do that." Tulips stuttered, trying to catch her breath. "All I Did was wal—you where crying, you could have been c-never mind." Tulip breathes and sat next to y/n. Tonks taking a set on the opposite side of her.
