Chapter Twenty-One: The War

y/n had just gotten a worried phone call from Harry saying he needed her help. As soon and y/n heard this she jumped out of bed at started to get ready to go.

As y/n was about to walk out the door Tonks grabbed her hand. "Tonks I have to go." Y/n said, trying as best she could to loosen to Tonks grip. "What about Teddy?" Tonks Questioned. "Nymphadora, I love you and I love teddy. But Harry needs me." Y/n said and gave her a kiss on the nose. "Well if he needs you then he needs me." Tonks said tears threatening the leave her eyes. "No love, Teddy needs you. I'll be back I promise." Y/n said, giving her son a kiss and running out the door.

"Get the kids out of the castle!" Y/n yelled to Remus who quickly ran into the castle. As y/n looked over the sea of death eaters she heard footsteps from behind her. She turned quickly and was tackled into a hug by her wife. "What about Teddy?" Y/n asked, Tonks just shook her head. "He's asleep at Mums house, we'll be home before he wakes." Tonks said. Y/n gave her a sad look and Tonks must have known why because she brought her
into a kiss. "Hey, we will see our son again ok." Tonks said. Looking into
y/n's eyes. "Y/n, Tonks!" Harry Yelled, running up behind them. They turned quickly and smiled. "Thank you so much for coming." He said, y/n looked at Tonks and just nodded, grabbing her wife's hand and pulling it to her lips to plant a soft kiss on her palm. "You stay safe Nymphadora." Y/n said. "How many time do I have to tell you, Don't call me Nymphadora." Tonks sighed. "Hey I'm your wife, I'm the only exception." Y/n smiled before Tonks and Y/n Split there ways to defend the castle.

As Tonks threw a death eater into a wall she hear a heart ranching scream of pain. One she recognized all to well. One that made tears form in her eyes immediately. It was her wife's scream of pain. Tonks followd the sound of y/n screaming and saw her Aunt Bellatrix using the Cruciatus Curse on her. "Stupefy!" Tonks Yelled. Throwing Bellatrix away from y/n. Tonks lifted y/n from the ground and placed a quick kiss on her forehead. "Let's go." Tonks said, trying to pull y/n away, but it didn't work. "If you want to make it home to Teddy we need to get away from her." Tonks said, snapping y/n from her trance like state. Bellatrix has collected herself and had her wand pointed at y/n's back as she turned to walk away. "Avada Kedavra!" Bellatrix Yelled. Tonks was already shielding y/n from the cures with her own body. Y/n turned around just in time to watch Tonks body fall to the floor. Her breath became heavy as the love of her life body went cold. No longer caring that she could be attacked at any moment y/n dropped to her knees next to her wife and let out a scream of agony. Bellatrix had went off somewhere else and it was just y/n and a lifeless Tonks in the room. Y/n's tears suddenly stopped. Remembering that she still had her son to fight for. Reluctantly she stood up and left Tonks where she lay. Going out to finish the war and serve her wife justice.

Y/n walked about the castle, throwing stunning charms and binding charms left and right. Walking past dead loved ones, but never stoping till she saw Sebastian the closet thing she had to a brother. Was laying right in front of her. She wiped away a couple of tears before continuing her mission to revenge her wife and brother.

She had maybe twenty death eaters round up before she became surround, meeting her dimises at the hands of none other then Lucius Malfoy. Her last thought being that of her wife and brother. Along with her son.
