Tonks and Y/n walked In to the wizard orphanage. "Nice to See you Mrs and Miss Tonks." The director said, her voice was low and quiet. Given the fact that they where in the baby section. "What are you looking for. Any special magic you want him or her to have?" She asked. Tonks and y/n looked at each other and nodded. "We would like him or her to be a metimophase." Y/n said. The lady started to look threw a list and smiled. "We have just the boy for you." The woman smiled.

She walked us into a room with three cribs, all three of them had a baby boy in them, but one boy stood out from the rest. While the other twos hair was a genetic colour like brown or black, the boy in the middle crib had blue hair. "Is it him?" Tonks asked, the lady looked at the crib Tonks was pointing at and smiled. "That is him, teddy Doesn't have a last name. We don't know His real parents because they left him on the door step just a couple months ago." The lady said. Tonks placed her hand on y/n's shoulder. "Why don't you hold him?" The lady suggested. "That would be lovely." Y/n smiled, rubbing hand sanitizer on her hand and lifting the baby from his crib. His hair turned pink and y/n gave him a confused look. "Oh right sorry, his hair will turn to the color of the person he wants to hold him." She smiled. Y/n smiled and looked at Tonks. "I'm not good with baby's." Tonks said, putting her hands up. "Your the one that came up with the idea of having a baby." Y/n laughed. "I know, it's because there cute, but I don't know if I'm responsible enough for one." Tonks sighed. Y/n seat teddy down and placed her hand on her wife's shoulder. "Look, I know you better then you know yourself." Y/n paused while Tonks nodded at this statement. "And I know that you want to hold him just as much as he wants you to hold him." Y/n smiled. Tonks rolled her eyes at her wife and took a step closer to the crib, her heat beat speeding up as she grew close to the baby. His hair went pink again. Tonks smiled and lifted him from his crib, but all of a sudden he started to cry as Tonks panicked. "Use your power Tonks." Y/n said. Tonks quickly turned her nose into that of a ducks, much like she had done to ginny just two years prier. Teddy quickly copped Tonks, his nose now that of a duck beck. "Well ladies, have you decided?" The lady asked, before y/n could say anything Tonks turned around. A sleeping teddy in her arms. "He's mine." She said and smiled downs at the boy. "Looks like we have, thank you mama." Y/n smiled. "No problem, I love helping those who can't procreate have a family." She smiled.

They had set up a nursery for a girl since that was what they wanted, but Tonks had grown so close to teddy in just a few minutes that they became almost inseparable. Tonks even took him out baby shopping while y/n re-painted the nursery from pink to blue.

When Tonks arived She set teddy in his makeshift bed and walked into the nursery, where her wife laid up against the only none painted wall. blue paint on her cheeks and some in her y/h/c hair. This reminded Tonks there first date in 7th year when y/n had fallen asleep and Tonks had to carry her back. Tonks carried y/n to there room and laid her in bed. Tonks smiled down at her wife before she heard her son start to fuss.

Tonks disused That she would paint the last wall with teddy and brought him in the room. His hair turned blue as he dipped his hand in the blue paint. "Teddy!" Tonks exclaimed, lifting her son quickly. Teddy's hand was covers in blue paint. Teddy looked up at his mum and started to grab toreros the wall. Tonks gave her son a confused look, but stepped closer to the white wall. Teddy placed his blue hand on the wall and let it sit there for a moment before pulling it away, leaving behind a tiny blue hand print. "That's what you want done with the wall?" Tonks asked. Teddy looked up at his mum and did a cute baby giggle that made Tonks smile. "I see you made a mess." Came a tired voice from behind them. Tonks turned and teddy giggled. "Hey dear." Tonks said with a shy smile. "Lok mu." Teddy said and pointed at the wall. Y/n's eyes widen along with Tonks. "He said his first work." Y/n smiled. She ran up to her son. "Say it again teddy." Y/n smiled. "Mu." Teddy smiled. Y/n picked him from Nymphadora's arms and did a circle. Teddy laughed. "What's this." Y/n asked, looking at the wall with Teddy's hand print. "Teddy wants out handprints in the wall." Tonks smiled. "Well then, we should get started huh." Y/n smiled, her wife and son looking at each other with a mischievous smile. "He's barely a year, how." Y/n laughed.

Once they got the handprint wall done and it was dry they set up his crib and dresser, putting some toys in the corner and laying him in his crib. Teddy fell asleep almost immediately after they put in bed. Y/n and Tonks sat and looked down at there beautiful baby boy.
