There has been a long debate whether immortality is a curse or a blessing.
In Miyoung's case, it used to be a blessing. A chance to experience everything in one lifetime, but after witnessing what seemed to be a hundred of funerals, it began to be more like a curse. Indeed, she had the chance to experience everything but there was a price to pay. She would have to watch everyone she ever cared about slip away from fingers, until they were all gone.
Her sister's descendants gave her a home to live for the past 300 years. Her looks had not change even after the many years, which gave her a reason to be careful of being recognized. She couldn't even achieve her dreams out of fear. She didn't want anyone to know her curse aside from her family.
She had seen many things as expected, from wars to the modernization of society. She was the sole witness of everything.
After 300 years, Miyoung had lost every will to live. Not until a cursed soul found its way to hers.
