Y/n POV

The weather outside was terrible, rain poured and hammered against the windows which meant everyone was staying inside and playing games all day, it didn't bother me as it meant I could get my studying done and a few little tiktoks filmed.

The guys were in the game room whilst the girls were probably filming tiktoks or doing whatever girls do.

I was interrupted by a knock on the done and someone poking their head round so I was able to see them.

"Hey vinnie"

"Hey we're going to get some food, do you wanna come with?"

"Yeah sure let me just change quick and I'll meet you in the car"

Why they want to go and get food is beyond me especially when it's pouring with rain outside. I quickly changed into a hoodie and some jeans with my vans not wanting to make them wait too long. Surely enough by the time I got outside everyone was in their cars and vinnie was sat with his passenger seat empty so I sat next to him to save taking another car.

"Where are we going to get food?"

"Probably chipotle or Taco Bell"

"Okay"

He shot a smile in my direction before turning the radio on and humming along to whatever song was playing. I didn't really pay much attention when we were driving since when I finally snapped back to reality we were pulling up to the parking lot of chipotle.

Time skip-

We were all sat near a window since they were the larger tables and managed to fit us all round. I had never in my life seen so much food be demolished so fast. Boys are wild when it comes to food. Since I was eating I only gave a few comments to a few different conversations and just listened to the rest but I couldn't help hear two of vinnies friends talking.

"Dude I know she's vinnie's best friend and everything but she's always there, we never get to spend time with him anymore"

"Y/n is his best friend for life, he's known her longer so don't be surprised that he spends more time with her"

"Yeah but dude there is spending time with her and then completely abandoning your other friends I just wish she'd back off she's so annoying"

Since they were whispering no one else really heard them or if they did they didn't say anything. I couldn't stand being in the same room as them at this minute, I didn't have the strength to stand up for myself because if I tried I knew I'd cry. I could feel the tears threatening to spill from my eyes.

"I'm not feeling well, I'm going to go home"

"I can drive you back if you want?"

"No vinnie I'm going home  I've already ordered an Uber"

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing vinnie, I just don't feel well okay? Make sure you spend time with these guys and I'll give you a call later?"

He placed a quick kiss to my forehead before I got my bag and quickly left the group. The stupid idea of mine was telling vinnie that I had ordered an Uber home when in actual fact I hadn't. And it was still raining just as bad as it was before.  I began my long walk back to the house to get my car, I just wished it would have stopped raining, instead it only got heavier, my clothes were drenched and they were getting heavier and heavier with the more rain they tried to absorb. I had been walking for about 5 minutes when a car pulled up to the side of me.
