Insecure-Tayler Holder

Nicole's pov-
Quarantine was driving everyone insane. Being around the same people everyday all day was draining, especially when there was no form of entertainment besides the pool and sleeping or eating. So me being me, I decided to create my own entertainment.

The LA sun beamed down onto the pool as everyone chatted among themselves whilst I scrolled through my phone looking at pointless posts which had been the only thing that had really consumed my time. Tayler was filming a video with Noah whilst Lauren, Addison and Olivia talked to each other and me adding a comment every now and then. Right now they were talking about some guy they had seen on Instagram and I couldn't care less. I had Tayler so I didn't need to look at another guy, but the comment did give me an idea.

Bursting with excitement to finally have some entertainment I got out the pool without talking to anyone and went to set a camera up in the kitchen before changing into some shorts and an oversized T-shirt.

Taylers pov—
I noticed that Nicole walked out without talking to anyone, she didn't look mad or upset but she didn't look happy either.

"Go and see what's wrong with her dude"
I swear Noah didn't have a girlfriend but he knew when someone needed to do something. Damn this kid. I smiled a him lightly before walking inside to see what was wrong with my lovely girlfriend.

I seen her in the kitchen just sitting there scrolling through her phone and she looked gorgeous, her hair was slightly darker and more wavy due to her just coming out of the pool and she was in my shirt. She was actually stunning.

"Hey what's wrong? You just kind of left everyone"

"Okay I have an idea"
"Enlighten me please"

"So obviously with quarantine everyone is bored and I kinda wanna do a prank. I am one hundred percent with you liking other girls pictures because I'm not the jealous type but only you know that, so we're going to get into an argument because you liked your ex's post but it's just a prank, so what do you say?"

"Let's do it"

Nicole's pov—
I smiled at him before putting my camera on and recording when everyone started to come in due to the majority of them being hungry. And so the prank began.
Tayler stood talking to Bryce and Noah whilst Addison came over to me. Out of most of the  girls that I hung out with I definitely got along with Addison most so I was fine with talking to her.

"Hey what's wrong?"

"Nothing I'm fine"
I shot her a small smile before she frowned at me, making me frown as well.
"How about In-N-Out?"

"Sounds like a plan"

I ran to get my shoes from my room before shoving them in and finding my car keys. I felt a presence behind me and I instantly knew who it was, and since we were now doing the prank on everyone I turned around and ignored Tayler.

"Hey where are you going?"

I felt guilty for ignoring him or giving him blunt answers and I really didn't want to fight with him because I was never one for confrontation. Yelling was one of my worst fears and I knew that I would probably end up crying throughout this prank but I was truly bored.

Everyone noticed that I hadn't answered him and started giving each other questioning looks as to what happened. But as far as Tayler was concerned to them, he didn't even know.
Addison asking me if I was ready brought me back to focus and I didn't hesitate to walk out the house to my white ranger rover.

"What happened back there?"

"I don't know what you're talking about"
But now, all the girls were in my car, meaning Addison, Olivia, Lauren, Ainsley and Eliza.
"You just ignored Tayler, something must have happened"

"It just seems so pathetic and I just need to deal with it without blowing up at him"

"Tell us what happened and we'll help you out"
"Okay, well he liked his ex's Instagram post and I don't know it just made me feel insecure and it isn't the first time he has liked girls Instagram posts, like I know I can't completely stop him from liking posts but it just makes me insecure"

It didn't, if anything I couldn't care less if he liked other girls posts, I was confident with who I was and how I looked and if he didn't like me then he wouldn't be with me. But I was certainly good at acting like I cared about it.
"Have you told him you don't like it?"

"I've brought it up in conversation yeah but he clearly didn't listen. But enough about that I wanna listen to music"

Harry styles blasted through the car and I tried to focus on how I was going to make the prank full blown.

—time skip—
We got back from In-N-Out that I payed for, for everyone, they better pay me back for their meals. Kidding.
I grabbed the bags of food before jumping out the car and laughing at something that Lauren had said. I loved spending time with the girls, they made me forget everything and actually allowed me to have fun without caring what other people think.
"Foods on the table, come and get your own, lazy fucks"
I have never seen a group of fully grown people run so fast towards me just because I mentioned food.
A series of thank you's could be heard throughout the kitchen as they all took their food and dispersed into groups. Tayler was staring at me from across the table whilst eating his food and he knew that we had to put our plan into action, so he did what he would only think would start it off and move over to kiss me but I backed away causing everyone to look and their eyes went wide.

"What's wrong?"
"Don't ask me what's wrong?"

"What did I do?"

"I don't know? Maybe liking your ex's Instagram post, and other girls posts for that matter"

"Seriously this is what it's about?"

"Yeah, you know I don't like it when you like other girls posts"

"You can't expect me to just not like or follow any other girl besides you, seriously it's just stupid that you'd even expect me to do that"

"Well I've told you I don't like that so I thought you have the human decency to respect that"

The arguing continued for around another  forty minutes before we decided to give up, it seemed pointless to be arguing over something that wasn't even a problem to me and no one had even figured that it was a prank.

Tayler had been getting a few words in but I'd just kinda given up because I was so close to crying due to the yelling.
"Are you seriously that insecure that you have to worry about me liking another girls post?"

Ouch. Well that hurt, if I knew it was going to hurt this bad I never would have suggested this prank in the first place.
The next thing I knew tears were falling down my face and I was running out of the room and into the bathroom. I couldn't stop the tears from falling and I didn't know why, I wasn't insecure about it, I couldn't care less about who's post he liked but I guess hearing him accuse me of being insecure because of someone else, it just hurt me.

"I'm sorry Nicole, I really didn't mean it"

"No I know you didn't. I'm just emotional I'm sorry"

"Don't be sorry, this prank ended up being a pretty stupid idea"
"I can agree with you on that one, and just so you know I don't care about you liking other girls posts, and I'm not insecure"

My eyes dropped to the ground as my tears slowed down.
"Hey, look at me. I love you okay? You don't even need to worry about me liking another girls post because I only have eyes for you"

"I love you too"
