Jadens pov

"what's up guys, welcome back to my channel. if you don't know who i am, I'm Jaden, lovely to meet you. now today we are going to be doing something that went around youtube a while ago which was ignoring your partner prank and seeing how they reacted."

i pulled a worried face at the camera before explaining my video

"I have about an hour to set up the cameras before Nicole gets home from work. To be completely honest i think this might be harder for me than it will be on her only because when she gets home we always talk about how our days were and complain about anything if we needed to but i am determined to do this accurately"

I set up one camera behind the coffee pot since she didn't like coffee so she wouldn't look there and one on the dining room table between the flower jars that had been set out. i hid a few more around the house like the bedroom and the lounge area and waiting patiently until she got home finally. 

The front door creaked open and Nicole stood in the door way taking her jacket of and placing her bag next to the shoe rack.  

"baby i'm home"

This was so hard already and she had only just got back. 

Nicole's pov---

i walked in the house after a very stressful day at work and in desperate need to have a big cuddle session with Jaden. however, when i got home it was deadly silent, 

"baby i'm home"

no reply. this was strange and i didn't like it one bit. 

"babe"

still nothing. i closed the door and walked further into the house, noticing that Jaden's stuff like his car keys and shoes was still here so he was still in the house. I saw the familiar head of hair sitting at the dining room table on his laptop so i went over to him and rested my hands on his shoulders, him almost instantly relaxing at my touch. 

"how has your day been baby?"

I still didn't get a reply from him which was starting to frustrate me because as far as i was concerned we were not on bad terms as we hadn't had an argument that day. I furrowed my eyebrows before sitting next to him. i knew he could hear me because he didn't have both of his headphones in so he was just giving me the silent treatment. 

Two can play that game, honey. 

Jaden slammed his laptop shut before storming off upstairs as if he wanted attention and i sure as hell wasn't going to give it to him even if  i was wrapped around his little finger. it might sound bad but trust me if you spent one day with him then you'd be too. I heard the sound of a frustrated sigh come from one of the rooms upstairs but i just shrugged it off as one of the other sway boys.

"hey Nicole"

i turned to see Griffin walk through the door with a shopping bag in his hand.

"hey griff, quick question, do you know if anything is wrong with Jaden because i have tried talking to him but he is just ignoring me and not even noticing i exist."

"nothing should be wrong with him, i'll go and talk to him for you and see what his problem is"

"thank you"

Griffin was like a brother to me which is why i knew i could trust him when talking about boy problems. whilst he did that i decided to cook fried chicken with a salad for everyone for when they got home. 

Jaden's pov---

i am so close to cracking. this is so much harder than i thought it would be. She looked exhausted and i knew she needed someone to talk to but i had to do this video and not seem like a complete softie for this girl. who am i kidding? everyone knows i am completely whipped for this girl. she's the love of my life and the one i want to marry yet here i am, completely ignoring her as if she doesn't exist. If it was this horrible for me i can't even begin to imagine how she feels. 

i heard the front door open and close and then a conversation between Nicole and Griffin, the conversation was about me which didn't surprise me since Griffin was the next one if the house that she trusted with her problems. But that also meant he was probably going to come up here and kick my ass. 

---time skip---

we had all just sat down to eat dinner when Josh started asking everyone how their days were which also meant they would pick up on the fact that i was ignoring Nicole. 

"my day was horrible josh, but it would be better if a certain someone stopped giving me the silent treatment!"

i deserved that. i recieved a bunch of confused glances until a few of them noticed the camera hidden between the huge jars on the table, luckily for me they were out of sight of Nicole and no one mentioned it. 

after a few more attempts at trying to talk to me that night and  still not getting an answer Nicole finally gave up and went to the bedroom, only to return a few minutes later with a bag in one hand and her phone charger in the other hand. 

Griffin perked up from his chair 

"yo Nicole where are you going?"

"I'm going to stay with y/f/n for the night because I am not staying here with someone who claims they love me yet is ignoring me for i don't even know what reason"

the sniffles of her trying to prevent her nose from running was enough to let me know that she was crying which is when i knew i had to end the damn video. i rushed out of my chair and towards her outside walking towards her car.

"baby wait"

she turned around with a confused look plastered on her face

"baby don't cry. i was doing it for a video i am so sorry i shouldn't have done it. i love you"

she smiled weakly before hugging me and walking back inside the house. surely she can't have forgiven me that easily right? just as i thought, she walked back down the stairs with a pillow and a blanket.

"have fun sleeping on the couch tonight baby"
