Hiding from the spotlight wasn't the easiest thing to do but I managed to do it somehow. I was related to Tayler holder and with him being a big social media influence it was hard to stay out of the spotlight.
I'd never been comfortable with sharing my whole life with the world, it was mine and I wanted it to stay like that. Which is why me and Tayler never saw eye to eye on most things. I didn't like that he posted everything online and he didn't like that I didn't have many friends which meant I was always there when he hung out with people like ondreaz and Tony.I never disturbed him or ruined his plans so there's nothing to be annoyed at except today was a day where he was annoyed.
The sun was blazing through the large glass windows that lined the ground floor and since it was the middle of summer it was only appropriate to walk around in shorts and a tshirt. As per usual ondreaz and Tony were round and filming tiktoks in the lounge so I had to keep to the kitchen.
"Hey Lil sis"
"What now?"
I didn't mean to snap at him I just did"Woah less of the attitude"
"Well whenever you say 'hey lil sis' it usually means you want something"
"Yeah, can you do us a favour and like hang out with your friends or something. We have a few videos to film"
"Why? I literally stay in my room all day anyways"
He rolled his eyes before I walked off making sure to slam the door to my bedroom. He couldn't just expect me to leave at the click of a finger. Seriously, people frustrate me so much.
A few hours later I had my headphones in and was continuing to paint my canvas that was standing in the corner of my room untouched for about a month before someone came and pulled my earphones out.
"What the hell?"
"We ordered pizza, you want some?"
I nodded my head before putting the lid on my paint. Ondreaz waited patiently by the door whilst I cleaned everything up.
"You can talk to me you know. I don't bite"
"Yeah I know. I just don't think Tayler would be too happy"
"So what? You're allowed friends. Just because you don't live your life in the spotlight it doesn't mean he has to be so hard on you. I sometimes wish I didn't live my life in the spotlight"
We heard the front door slam before Tony shouted ondreaz for food. Before he walked out of the room he grabbed my hand to make sure I followed him. There was something about him that I just admired, the way his eyes would crease when he smiled or the way his hair fell in his face or maybe even his fashion sense. I don't know what it was but I just admired him.
"Can you stop checking my mates out?"
I snapped back to reality and my cheeks began heating up before I grabbed a few slices of pizza and went to walk up the stairs.
"I don't think so, you're going to sit down here with us and watch and movie""Do I have to?"
"Yeah you do"
I sighed before jumping on the couch and making myself comfortable making sure there was at least an arm length between me and ondreaz although I didn't realise they had put a horror movie on, meaning I was jumping at any little scary thing. By the end of the movie I had ended up sitting in ondreaz's lap with my face buried in his chest.
"You're adorable"
"Shut up"
"No I mean it"
"No I'm not I-"
I got cut off by his lips being firmly pressed to mine. And I fully realised that I had fallen for my brothers best friend
