Lydia's pov--

My eyes fluttered open to the blinding sunlight shining through the white curtains in the bedroom. I reached my arm out to Jaden's side of the bed only to find that it was empty, which was weird because he never leaves the bed without waking me first.
I shrugged it off and threw the covers off of me before swinging my legs round to reach the floor. Finding one of Jadens shirts and putting it on I made my way down the stairs to try and find someone in the house.

Unsurprisingly, they were all in the kitchen passing round a box of Reeses cereal.
"Morning everyone"
All I got in response was a few 'mhm's and a wave since none of them were morning people.
"You want me to make pancakes instead of you all eating the cereal?"
(Fun fact: I've tried to make pancakes at least 4 times in the past week and they never worked)

i knew they were all suckers for pancakes and if it meant they stopped eating my cereal which i paid for i'd do anything...well not literally anything. I got all of the ingredients from the cupboard whilst all the others laughed at me for having to stand on the counter top to reach some of them and measured them all out perfectly. 

"hey babe, do you wanna listen to my new song?"

"sure thing, just let me use the whisk first and then you can play it"

once the pancake mix was all nice and smooth Jaden began his new song through the speaker in the kitchen, and i have to say that it was amazing, not just because he was my boyfriend but because it actually was. When it got to the chorus i looked at him and he just stood there with a small but noticeable smirk plastered on his face.

"so fuck me like a rockstar, dancing on a cop car, nothing in the world can stop me now"

he seemed so proud of this one until he saw my face when he looked at me. 

Jadens pov---

Lydia stood there looking shocked at the song as she cooked the pancakes. i loved having this affect on her, she always looked completely speechless and i loved it.

"hang on play it again"

"which part"

"the chorus but i want you to sing it"

"okay"

i replayed the song so that it got to the chorus and started singing to her.

"so fuck me like a rockstar-"

"ooh boy say less"

i knew she was going to make a comment like that and i wasn't even mad about it. at the end of the day that's the person i fell in love with and i wouldn't change her for the world. I walked over to her and wrapped my arms around her waist from behind whilst she made pancakes. placing a gentle kiss to her shoulder i noticed the small smile forming on her face before i started kissing up her neck and along her jawline. 

"Jaden not now the pancakes are going to burn"

"who cares about the pancakes"

"they do stupid"

"ugh fine"

i let her go so she could stack the pancakes properly and got everyone a bottle of water from the fridge and place them all on the table in people's designated seats. 

---time skip---

after a busy day in quarantine, note the sarcasm, we were all chilling in our own rooms since we had been outside for most of the day so a lot of us were sunburnt, me and Lydia decided to watch a few movies. However, i just wasn't feeling the movies, so i played my own little game. i started kissing her cheek before moving to her jaw, noticing how her breathing hitched the closer i got to her neck, before gently grabbing her chin to make her look at me. 

"How about we finish what we started in the kitchen"
