Christmas party: avani gregg

The schools most popular student was hosting yet another party, except this one was a Christmas party. Me, payton, jaden, mads and josh were all getting a lift together since we were all getting ready at mine. I decided on a tight red sparkly dress with my red heels and black leather jacket.

"Are you gonna make a move?"

"Nuh-uh. No way"

"Why? You're both totally into each other"

I dropped the conversation before anyone else could say anything, jaden being my male best friend knew how much of a crush I had on avani, yes my female best friend. It was hard to hide my feelings for her but I knew she wasn't into girls so there was no point in me even trying.
And even though jaden was always telling me she liked me back, part of me didn't belive him. Mads came over to us and sat on jadens lap, I sighed before looking at them both
"You guys make me feel so single"
They both chuckled before madi helped me with my makeup.

-time skip-
the drive to the party was silent and a little long, I being the designated driver decided to drive there too.
"Come on guys, please don't drink too much I can't be dealing with you"

"Okay...mom"

"I swear to god payton moormeier get your ass back here"
I chased him up the driveway before we all reached the entrance of the party. We spotted the rest of the group near the ping pong table. Tayler, Bryce, Tony and ondreaz were all chatting and laughing with a drink in hand.
"Ayy y/n you made it"

"Of course. Come on let's play spin the bottle"

"Okayyy"

Once everyone was gathered in a circle we started the game. Everyone joined in including chase k, chase h, avani and charli. Tayler spun the bottle and it landed on ondreaz which was hilarious to see. They were both so awkward.

"Y/n your turn"
I span the bottle and it landed on noen. I looked at him before glancing at everyone else. I slowly made my way over to him before pecking him on the lips.

"Done, now somebody else's turn"

"Avani your turn"

I watched intently as the bottle landed on Anthony. My heart dropped at the thought of it.
"I need some air"

-avani pov-

Y/n got up and rushed out the back door, I knew I needed to talk to her but I also didn't want it to be awkward between us, she was my best friend and I wouldn't do anything to jeopardise that.
"I'll go talk to her"
I got up without anyone saying anything and rushing after her.
'Y/n wait up"
She started to slow down before taking her heels off and holding them in her hand.

"What's wrong?"
"Nothing"
"Y/n, I've known you for what five years now, I know you like the back of my hand. Which also means I know something is wrong"

"Okay, you really want to know. I like you, because my pansexual ass can't help who I have feelings for. And I know you don't like me back and I don't want to ruin our friendship but I really like you."

"Okay first things first, whatever happens our friendship can't be ruined and second of all I need you to close your eyes"

She closed her eyes so i pulled the mistletoe out from behind my back and lifted it above our heads. Since she still had her eyes closed I gently placed a kiss on her lips.

"I really like you too"

"Good"
She snaked her arms around my neck and out of habit mine snaked around her waist before leaning in for another kiss, this time more passionately
