"What are you doing?" Maryanne stops me. I sigh. "This isn't your floor."

"Mr. Scott wants my report." I state holding the papers up. She scoffs.

"I'll give them to him." She states grabbing the papers. I frown. "He's too busy for you."

"That's not true." Wills voice rings behind me. I let out a sigh. "He called us up." He takes the papers from her. "Thank you." He gestures for me to follow him. I ignore the daggers Maryanne shoots at me as I pass her.

"Perfect timing." I state,

" As always." He states lightly. He knocks on Mr. Scott's door.

"You didn't have to come up here." I say lowly. "I would of survived." He chuckles.

"You seemed nervous. Can't have my assistant scared." He jokes.

"Come in." Mr. Scott's voice echo's. Will opens the door for me to walk in. I'm taken aback by the large office. "William."

"We have the report." Will beams ushering me forward. I awkwardly hold the papers out to him. He grabs them. "Rosie did it by herself. It's perfect." I glance back at Will.

"Mr. Schall speaks so highly of you." Mr. Scott says drawing my attention back. He sets the report down. "I expect nothing under perfection."

"I-I wont disappoint." I state. Mr. Scott's eyes drift to Will.

"Have you covered everything?" He asks.

"Most things." Will pushes. "Uh, Rosie, you're good to go. Wait for me in my office?"

"Um." I look at him then nod. "Yes." I nod at Mr. Scott before making my way out.

"I can see why you recommended her over everyone." Mr. Scott mumbles softly. " She seems qualified enough." I close the door behind me feeling nosey. Am I really making that much of an impact at my job? It's only an assistant position. It is a huge leap from my old position.

Will meets me in his office as he promised.

" What was that about?" I ask curious. He sits down.

"Just touching base." He states. "He wants you to learn more. Do more things that I do so you can be qualified. And cover me god for bid I'm not here."

"I understand." I reply. "So more time together?" His eyes meet mine, the normal cocky stare gone.

"Thankfully." He smiles. His smile isn't normal either. He doesn't say anything else. I feel my eyebrows furrow. My mind races.

"A-Are you okay?" I ask concerned. He nods.

"I'm just tired." He states. "I'm sorry, Sweetheart." Unsatisfied, I nod. "Uh, how about I show you my emails. It will show you what else you can expect to see. I know I forward you some already, but seeing all is more educational and some are more important per say."

"Okay." I say. He moves to sit behind his desk, turning his screen toward me. I slowly sit in an arm chair.

"You are going to get more confidential information." He states. "Along with weekly catch ups." I drown out his words as I let my mind wonder. His whole mood has changed. He did a complete 180. He isn't acting normal at all.

I text Jane when I get back to my office. Will went on his lunch alone. He told me he is far to busy with stuff then left.

Me: Are you still free tonight?

Maybe he is starting to regret us. Or he just needs space? He did say he wouldn't push for anything. His attitude snapped and he isn't his usual self. Did something happen? My mind is a mess right now.
